Ok - a bit of a niche market but it's a great deal so might help someone out there. considering i was first offered 3 yrs service at £1200 and then bought it down to £850, 5 years under £500 is fantastic.
The first service is £340 so this is a no brainer.
Only available on new evoques purchased within the last 90 days (although they can be flexible as i was on a different plan and they have swapped me over without it costing me anything)
thannks to all over at evoqueowners forum.

I am not a believer in main dealer servicing after a Honda dealership charged us £180 for an oil and filter change. Not even sure if they did the spark plugs.
This will be an opportunity for them to print money no doubt.

You don't service a car when something goes wrong.
You should service your car regularly in order to prevent anything going wrong internally and to keep it in the best possible condition.

Seems a pretty good deal. I paid £300 for three years servicing on my BMW. I thought it was a good deal until I first turn the engine on and it told me the date of the next service and it was 2 years away!
Should at least get your money's worth on this deal as over 5 years. If the service intervals are 12 months then even better, would guess more likely 24 months these days.
As for people with Evoques using hukd this site isn't for people with no money it's for people that like a deal. I've had three different brand new cars in the last 2 years Mercedes, Porsche and now BMW and still like a dishwasher tablet deal from Tesco!

If only it was that easy, believe me Ive looked into all the in's and outs. Apart from the fact the Norgies, like the rest of Europe drive on the 'wrong' side of the road the Tax involved far out weights the savings. Only official dealers can bring cars in from Germany (for example) and offer the (Norwegian) standard of 5 years warranty. That in its self is worth its weight in gold.
Im looking to buy a 2005-2007 M5 as a run-around for the UK/Scotland next month. You cant buy much for that price here in Norway at all.

Funny thing is there are a few over on the evoque owners forum who have the Evoque Dynamic Si4 (petrol and not as economical as is quick engine)...costing nr 50k, they then spend money on detailing it. however, if you read their posts, they are really 'sensible' with their money. A lot of them buy bits from ebay. They look around for the best deal on everything. Hence this deal got flagged up there and lots of people have taken it up.
warmasice
15 May 13#133
£499???... Dont assume you will get 5 services. For the average user with modern longer intervals you're probably looking at 3 services. So, thats 3 oil filters and a bit of oil, maybe 1 of those services will include and air filter (cost of £10). Abit of a rip off. Not to mention while your car is in for a service they will try and find a million faults!.. Total cost of oil and filters for 3 services will be no more than £100-£150.
Anyway, i didnt think people with rovers had any money for servicing!
Jimmyboy
15 May 131#134

15 May 13#137
Besides the fact many people get their motors on PCP these days, so the list price isn't that relevant - just the monthly payment.
I found Land Rover to not be competitive with PCP compared to Mercedes (who are exceptional on PCP)
But Land Rover know they can sell everyone they make, as they are desirable.
