Introduce yourself to the sleek Sony PlayStation 3 Slim Game Console, featuring an advanced design that's smaller, lighter and more power-efficient than previous models, plus sophisticated internet, multimedia and Blu-ray capabilities that make it much more than just a groundbreaking games console. This model features a 160GB hard drive.

With serious power under its stylish hood, including IBM's Cell processor and a Sony/NVidia co-developed graphics processor that makes this system able to whizz through two trillion calculations per second, the PlayStation 3 Slim Game Console is 340 times as fast as the PlayStation 2.

A high-end multimedia super-performer ready to take its place at the heart of your home entertainment system, the Sony PlayStation 3 Slim Game Console uses the Blu-ray Disc media format, which can hold up to six times the amount of data as DVDs, to support increasingly amazing game-playing, as well as state-of-the-art movie watching - including support for 3D movies. Coupled with its processing power and advanced graphics processing, the potential of this sytem is almost unlimited, with jaw-dropping 3D and augmented reality games already arriving in stores and plenty more to come as its capabilities are explored by developers. Its revolutionary new controller contains an increadisensitive, accurate six-axis sensing system.

I bought the Sainsbury deal last week with 2 copies of Fifa 12...for £199.99.

I think they had a 2 week return policy so ........Took both copies of Fifa 12 back to customer services ....on 2 different days ......and asked for a credit note both times and both times they refunded my credit card £42.99 each for the games.

So 160gb PS3 Slim for £114.01........BARGAIN !!!

Megalols at everyone who has reached panic stations, but seriously calm down.

I place an order, got the 1st email, then the 2nd email and I've received an invoice in the post.

Am I running around like a mad man?! Am I f**k! I'm just going to wait until they deliver or cancel.

I won't incur any charges as they can't charge the account until they have dispatched the goods.

The people who paid up front, Im sorry but you lot are mugs but I do hope you get your monies back.

So... we all know mail order companies often say "Allow 28 days for delivery". I ordered less than 28 days ago and my goods have arrived. I used a mail order company, I got the item I wanted in the time I expected. I didn't get worked up, I let mail order companies do what they do. Be slow and inefficient, but I got my goods.

I think the problem with this thread is that people seem to forget this is a mail order company, whether they have a website or not. Tens of pages of people whining because all they do everyday is sit on the internet wishing things were instant and things didn't take time like the good ol' days. Receiving invoices in the post?? What is this madness.

Yes their computer system isn't great, and their customer service aren't able to do much more than read off their screens, this all can be improved, but welcome to the real world, this is how a lot of companies operate. They don't have the money to spend on complete system overhauls, and yes, it does cost a lot of money despite those of you who are sure they could write a better system. You live at your computers thinking they are the real world ignoring what is actually out there and how things actually work.

Anyways rant over. Mail order company gave me goods I ordered, I am happy  Well done all who stuck with it.

From the reviews they aren't scammers, they just have bad business practices and make it difficult for you to pay the balance off so they can rope you in on the interest payments and fees.

You just need to make sure you pay the balance off within 21 days, provided they send you account statement of course... They don't make the money on the goods so much, they make the money on the interest as that's a massive APR and we all know how low interest rates are.

Look on the bright side, with the price of the console there will be many other people in the same boat. If they play up, if everyone complains we should be able to get them on watchdog.

How do I make a payment?

* Following despatch of your order you will receive a statement showing you how much and when to pay

You can pay in several ways:

1. Use this site to make an online payment.

2. Over the phone using our Automated Payment Service by calling the Careline on 0871 200 0378 and selecting Option 1. We accept the following cards: Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard and Maestro. Note: Credit card payments will incur a processing charge of 1.5% of the payment value. Full details will be given at the time you make your payment.

3. At the Bank. Fill in details of the amount you are paying on the Bank Giro Slip attached to your statement and pay over the counter at your Bank.

4. By Post. You can send a cheque/Postal Order crossed and made payable to Studio, ensure you write your Account Number and your name and address on the reverse of your cheque/Postal Order & send to Studio, Preston, PR0 2BP.

spread the costYou have the opportunity to spread your payments and the flexibility to select the payment method that suits you best.

Option 1 - DIRECT DEBIT you will be sent a statement every 28 days showing the minimum payment due. For this option you will pay your installments by direct debit and every 28 days you will be charged just 2p, for every pound owing, together with a service charge on any purchase added to your balance on your previous statement from the date of despatch of each item up to that statement. There will be a minimum service charge of £1, 29.5% APR typical (variable). Written quotations available on request. For Direct Debit information call 08713 769 950.

Option 2 - you will be sent a statement every 28 days showing the minimum payment due which you will be expected to pay within 21 days. You may pay your instalments by cheque, bank giro, debit card, credit card or postal order and every 28 days you will be charged just 2.9p, for every pound owing, together with a service charge on any purchase added to your balance on your previous statement from the date of despatch of each item up to that statement. There will be a minimum service charge of £1, 44.9% APR typical (variable). Written quotations available on request.

Example credit limit of £300: if you make purchases up to the full amount of this credit limit, assuming that you repay the outstanding balance over a 12 month period by way of equal instalments (first instalment within 28 days) and that any interest rates remain the same throughout this period, the total charge for credit under the credit agreement will be £44.10 (if you pay by direct debit) and £64.55 (if you pay by other methods). The total amount payable will therefore be £344.10 (if you pay by direct debit) and £364.55 (if you pay by other methods).

There is no extra charge if you choose to pay the whole amount within 21 days. Availability of credit is subject to status and the amount of credit you have remaining on your account up to but not exceeding the credit limit we have extended to you.

Please Note: you are responsible for payments of all goods and services supplied. Should you fail to make a payment or pay less than the minimum amount due by the specified date and we or someone acting for us have to remind you to make such payment, we reserve the right to charge you default sum each time that we have to remind you, and the amount of any other losses and reasonable costs we incur as a result of your default. These will include (but are not limited to) the costs of tracing you, notifying you of your default and enforcing payment of any amount due.

Hate this company, ordered some stuff from them years ago, it never turned up, kept getting statements but wasn't going to pay for stuff I hadn't had, they kept adding charges, I sent them letters and phoned saying the stuff hadn't arrived, still kept getting statements with charges on, in the end sent them a really snotty letter telling them I would take them to court if they kept harrassing me, got a letter back a few days after saying my account had been cleared of all charges.

My mum uses them, every month pretty much they will add a charge to her account, they send statements out so late that there is hardly any time/ no time to pay before getting a charge. Prices are good but they make up for it with the sneaky charges.

This is actually Express Gifts Limited who have god knows how many names on the internet: Studio (in discussion here), Webb Ivory, Ace, Health & Home Shopping. Express are owned by Findel who also own Kitbag, Kleeneze etc.

Here is there credit explanation (buried deep in the Ts&Cs) and EU driven pre-contract info you are agreeing to
http://www.24studio.co.uk/ss/pdf/Studio%20-%20Credit%20Explanation.pdf
http://www.24studio.co.uk/ss/pdf/Studio%20-%20SECCI.pdf

This is the automated software they use to chase poor unfortunates down
http://www.experian-da.com/solutions/tallyman.html
They bought it from Experian (http://www.experian.co.uk/assets/resources/case-studies/expressGiftsDM.pdf)

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?66249-Express-Gifts-Ltd-Who-Are-They

It's certainly a good deal, in terms of price only, but credit applications, scoring and possibly being a bit "slow" in colecting money has my spidey senses up. So no from me :-)

I would never sign up with a company who has a track record like them where you are in a credit agreement, all they need to do is state you defaulted on payment and then you could get some black marks on your credit record which take hours of work to get rid of.

Plus, when going for loans, credit cards you will have to declare you had / have store credit account.

Hopefully you will all be fine and get your good no problem, If I did not have a PS3 maybe I would of seen it different....

I cant say for sure Messiah but I see no reason why a credit based company would NOT let you pay it in full right away.

@Tinks a credit search is nothing unless your constantly getting denied for some reason and should not cause hassle at all or you would NEVER be able to get credit in the first place. As for tears possibly but got to be in it to win it as for me if it works out then w00t if not o well its just another misprice that didnt get honoured.

To all of the people saying you've not been charged any money you're right... Sort of. You've requested a credit agreement which, if passed by 24Studio legally binds you to their Ts&Cs of sale. Sure, they give you the option of paying it all off in one go but if they use delay tactics (as commented on many review sites - there's one featuring over 100 negative reviews) such as sending invoices late, claiming not to receive payment and so on you'll most likely end up having to run to the Financial Ombudsman/FSA when you're being hit with late payment and admin fees left, right and centre.

Time intensive and not worth the hassle IMO. If anybody manages to get their PS3 for £116.99 then fair play, but personally I'd rather pay the extra for piece of mind (there's been supermarket deals nationwide selling the 160GB for ~£160-170). Not to mention that if you read the last 'big offer' thread from 24Studio that got hot on HUKD, people bought 250GB Xbox 360s with Kinect but were switch-sold 4GB versions.

According to that thread some people still hadn't had a satisfactory resolution two months after the initial post. Not to mention that 24Studio didn't even have stock of the 250GBs yet kept taking more and more and more orders. Is it worth wasting that amount of time to-ing and fro-ing with phone calls and emails for the chance to save £50? Or would it not be quicker, easier and safer to shell out a little more and have the product in hand today?

I guess that's for you lot to decide - but forewarned is forearmed.

IF we get the PS3s and pay as soon as invoice is received then I can't see how they can mess us about with credit charges. Fair enough if it was one person on their own but this is now over 1400o there is no way they would get away with messing this number of people who are all connected via this website IMHO. It would ruin their already bad reputation.

Personally show me a 160g that you can buy for £160 the closest i saw was the sainsburys deal and that only worked through by doing a fifa12x2 then selling on trick. As for swapping and trading items etc if they do that then you can check straight away on the delivery notes which should be on the outside of the box upon delivery if its swapped just refuse delivery.
As for payment well you can call the amount you get the thing and pay over the phone they cannot deny then
bluespace77 to amplifiedAnt
20 Oct 11 #403
What are they going to do? send you a 320GB PS3 by mistake? A 120GB PS3, that would have the old firmware wouldn't it?

Just make sure you pay it off in a bank the moment the statement arrives, as then you should have a receipt and proof that you've paid it.

There's always safety in numbers, if one or two were ordering they might be able to pull over you the coals. But if hundreds or thousands order...

I admire your optimism. I've generally found it a good idea to accept the wisdom and experience of others when there's vast swathes of it but freedom of choice is a privilege worth exercising. Good luck

They already have form with the 250GB 360 'offer'. There's no evidence to suggest that this won't be exactly the same scenario. Heat on HUKD has utterly zero relation to the credibility of the company involved.

I walked past a huge stack of 160GB consoles on a pallet in the Basingstoke branch of Morrisons the other week which were reduced to £160. Fairly sure that was a nationwide deal posted on here. Perhaps they're not that price any more but won't be far off. Even given the choice of paying £180 or risking it with 24Studio I still know what I'd do. £117 is a worthless price if they don't have the stock (and I'd bet you the price of a PS3 they don't).

There's a reason retailers don't sell PS3s at this price and for the small percentage of people that will eventually get one ridiculously cheaply there'll be many more for whom this becomes an absolute ballache. You pays your money (when they let you), you takes your choice (if they ever chase down the stock) but in the words of a grumpy Scottish entrepeneur, "Ahm oot".

I know, as I posted before on Google it shows the previous price was £249.99.

There's no cache for the page, but you can still see that was the price http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%22Item+Reference%3A+790314%22&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a

More than likely when you think about it...strange how they dissapeared it from their site this morning then it was back later in the morning. The cynic in me says they did that to get the extra members.

Will wait and see...too good a deal to miss out on, especially when Im after one anyway.

Can't wait to see the ''studio24; I've been had!'' thread in a few days. All those members who tried to explain all the issues with this dea,l who were then attacked for doing so, must feel better now.
dreamager to 2409chris
20 Oct 11 #428
I'm still confused why so many people think we've "been had". It was a misprice, they're unlikely to honour it like so many other companies. People may get annoyed at receiving catalogues that they didn't before, but I already get them. I'm not sure what part of the 'probably not going to get a misprice' that goes on all the time on bargain sites is 'we've been had' in this case, especialy with no money or payment details changing hands.

Dont understand either to be honest Dream, ok our details are now within another database but big deal junk mail can be thrown and if not honoured its no loss.

Privacy ? Do you not think your details are splatted across numerous areas of business, on several junk mail listings. This is a misprice as stated and its 50/50 on whether its honoured or not but to opt out for such a claim is a little short sighted.

Straycat1967
20 Oct 11 1 #436
I am not disputing that, but probably more so the major headaches that MIGHT follow re previous peoples problems with this company..... My point, is it really worth the potential hassles with having a line of credit with this company all for the sake of a few pounds saving (Sainsbury £199 + 2 games deal).
If it was a straight purchase, fine, im in.. but!
It's having my name associated with them in respect a line of credit that becomes the issue.. constant mail outs, screw up's with accounts, wrong goods sent.... proof is plastered all over google.

Hey Stray understandable within context but the sainsburys deal was never meant to be Fifa12x2 and was only availible in some stores I tried my local for the same deal and wasnt able to get it the only offer was a when bought with these games deal which was more expensive.

Having your name associated with a company that if it doesnt go through only has a record of you applying for credit and getting approved would actually be a good thing as its a plus on your account for having a zero balance with a catalogue company or am I missing something there?
Straycat1967 to Nailez
20 Oct 11 #441
I was referring to the legit £199 + 2 games not the mispriced ... but not a biggie!
I'll let this lie as there is no point in bantering back and forth, personal views etc....
Keep it all on track re the product in question, so please let us all know via here if and when someone gets to base 2, 3 and 4 hopefully! again GL!

Shows the incompetence of the company though really. Gone 3pm in the day, and not a response one way or the other from them.

I rang as already a member of 24studio. I couldn't sign in as for some reason my account was closed online. The woman on the phone at 1st couldn't find this offer as it is not on there at all unless you click on the link that was given. She put me on hold then said that it is on there, plenty in stock but i have to order it online, she can not order it for me! Now that sounds suss to me! She sent me an email for me to reactivate my account online then I ordered it. On my account it says online orders not yet processed and it has the ps3 console but when i search for the correct product number that was sent to me in my email, it doesn't exist. The woman said it will take 10days delivery. I doubt this will be sent, as you cant even find it.

AFAIK, it's money shopping things that suggest otherwise, Rejections, or acceptances aren't shown on your file.

Just the actual credit search, by the company. The outcome isn't recorded. It's having too many searches, rather than rejections that affects your cf. As it makes you look desperate or fraudulent applying for many credit accounts at a time. Rejected people are more likely to do this. The rejection dosen't matter, as it isn't disclosed.

Then, having too many accounts, etc.

So if people have gone for this and been rejected, highly unlikely they'll reject anyone. But the search won't make a difference if it's rejected or not. It's just a recorded search.

This is what I was told, when we started looking at mortgages, watch the amount of searches you have, even if you know you will get accepted (never been rejected yet). Mobiles, cards, bank accs, catalogues, utilities etc. It's the searches that are the issue. Thought I'd clarify above info. But Rick T is right. Recent credit searches, do affect your ability to borrow from other lenders. As it's the searches which are looked at.

From my post yesterday for anyone who thinks that placing the order but not giving them bank details or payment details means you've cleverly avoided their spam machine. You will of course have a credit check done against you and, as has been rightly stated above, it isn't good sense to have too many of these too quickly.

But like I said yesterday, great deal if folks actually get it fairly and squarely and avoid any problems :-)

From the Ts&Cs of the site http://www.24studio.co.uk/ss/help/help.jsp?page=terms&part=data

(i) We will make searches about you at credit reference agencies who will supply us with credit information, as well as information from the Electoral Register. The agencies will record details of the search whether or not credit is granted. We may use credit-scoring methods to assess your application and to verify your identity. Credit searches and other information which is provided to us and/or the credit reference agencies, about you and those with whom you are linked financially may be used by us and other companies if credit decisions are made about you or other members of your household. This information may also be used for debtor tracing, fraud prevention, and the prevention of money laundering as well as the management of your account.

(ii) Information held about you by the credit reference agencies may already be linked to records relating to people with whom you are linked financially. For the purposes of credit searching you may be treated as financially linked and you will be assessed with reference to any "associated" records.

(iii) If we enter a credit agreement with you we will also supply details of your agreement with us to the credit reference agencies, as well as ongoing details of your account and how you manage it. If you do not repay on time or in full we will tell the credit reference agencies who will record details of the debt. All this information will be seen by other organisations carrying out later credit searches.

Just gave them a call to see if they have accepted me for credit like the rest of you people who've got the email confirmation because I've yet to have it, yet I ordered late Wednesday night.

What the lady said is that today they sent a letter out to me today, instead of giving me credit they want full payment in advance (£129.99), once I've paid they'll process the order then when I receive it, I'll need to claim the 10% back using the invoice later on.

So definitely looks promising!!

21 Oct 11 1 #564
People, do not get ahead of yourselves.

Credit checks may be carried out by a third party in an automated fashion, and the staff you speak to on the phone may be unaware of correct product prices. And it's a no-brainer that credit checks and account creation will happen before your order is processed.

Just because your application for an account has been accepted, does not mean they will process your order, even more so when on credit.
ragnar@forssman.
21 Oct 11 #565
I called as well and while mine is still being processed they said it looked like they were converting mine to an account (new to Studio) but could take 3-7 days. Did not mention any issues but we will wait and see.

Forgot to add I am linked to Experian and there was a search done by them but it only says searched for a gift card account - nothing more.

Not sure if this is down to credit rating (brother is a home owner and am a student) or due to the 10% code (i think some who used the 10% code received a second email). It could also be due to timing (i ordered mine first, within the first 2 hours)

I had only received the order (which i place on Thursday) confirmation email and was worried; therefore,I decided to call them this morning.

They said the order was held due to only have been given a 100 pound credit (no idea why it's so low!) whereas my order costs a 117. I ended up having to pay 29 pounds over the phone since the original price 129 for them to release my order. It will take a maximum of 3 days for my payment to go through at which point they'll send the ps3 with my invoice totaling approx 88 pounds.

This has the potential of turning into a headache but I guess we'll see what happens!

I dont think sony will have a deal with 24studio to allow 24studio to place the orders in Sony's supplier directly.
ompek
23 Oct 11 #642
so far I have not received a single email from that company regarding either registering or placing my order... WTF???
Ross87
23 Oct 11 #643
@Julius Littlewoods used to (don't know if they still do) say that about large electricals. I think they order them when needed, so they don't have too much cash tied up in expensive kit just sitting in the warehouse. This way if it doesn't sell, they haven't lost any money.
Julius to Ross87
23 Oct 11 #651
24studio may not have cash and warehouse to store the PS3, but Sony does it in UK.
I dont believe Sony will allow the factory, as their supplier, to deliver the products to the final customers through the retailer such as 24studio.
Don't forget the factory probable is not in the UK, so the shipment cost is even higher than warehouse for individual ps3.
Gavin01
23 Oct 11 #644
im 50/50 on this. They havnt as yet said anything like it was a pricing error etc.....

On the plus side the amount of people that have ordered them could pursuaded them to honor the price if indeed it was a error.

Plus out of all the people who ordered one, many will probably use the catalog again especially on credit in these hard times......its human nature.

Thats one way of bolstering your client base in one go....

ofcourse we have 50,000 active accounts when we only had 40,000 last week...

I got the same message, but now no longer able to obtain "new customer" discounts as I have an account.

mines gonna be cancelled, lets hope between us we can waste as much of their time as possible undoing their hard work promoting.

There is nothing I despise more than companies wasting my time and that of others just to bolster their number of accounts. You should be able to find my account with the details above as it was enough to set it up. Please close my account with immediate effect. I shall not now, or ever will, use this account to purchase goods or services from you. Im very pleased to see you are a member of the FSA. They are my next port of call.

let you know if it works saves writing / sending a letter that they dont receive.

Right guys i had only received the first email so i rang them up and they says my order is on hold so until november first basically meaning i have got it . But they haven't taken the disocunt to make it 116.99 women syas she can only do for 129 or whatever the price was so i have to email them showing the discount because they cannot give it me until i do . So if you have not received second email ring them!!
Stardrops to amars
23 Oct 11 #665
Or it could simply be on hold until you then hear from them at a later date telling you that unfortunatley despite many efforts they have been unable to secure anymore stock of the product so are therefore cancelling your order.

Beware catalogues do this all of the time and I can't see any positive reason why your order is on hold when the item was showing as in stock but has now vanished from the site altogether.

I wouldn't be getting worked up about. Chronological order. People who are awaiting dispatch. Haven't got the goods and may still get the cancellation email.

This is where tears start. People did say. FSA has got nowt to do with this. If people agreed and applied for a credit account. They have done no wrong there. Especially if they aren't charging for goods not despatched.

This catalogue always has been a never, never catalogue for people with crap credit. They do these stupid deals. Every now and then to farm more accounts. You didnt really think they would honour all these orders?

They are a well known ball ache company. I don't know why you bothered.

People are ringing it seems if they have had nothing back at all like me. I haven't rung them yet, if letter doesn't arrive in the post by Wednesday about this I will do. I ordered when this first went up and feel a bit cheated and treated poorly whereas people found this much later on and were informed straight way of success. Shoddy Customer Service in view, would like a PS3 as i'm an Xbox man myself and would like a taste on the forbidden fruit. But will wait till price goes down or if by some luck I actually receive my order. Good luck guys, don't panic and here's hoping they pull through and don't mug us off in any way shape or form. I don't see what all the fuss is here?!

If you got the 2nd email, well done, sit back and wait up to the 14 days they quoted for delivery directly from the manufacturer.

If you didn't get the 2nd email stating your application has been successful and your order acknowledged, give them a call and they will let you know.

you'll have to wait for the delivery note. You'll get something no doubt, but I think it'll not be what you expected if it's anything like the old xbox deal (they have something written in the T&C's that if they have no stock or not the item, you'll get a "substitute").... look out for that

... but you can return it, and challenge it. I know the procedure now, so will advise if need be!

http://www.24studio.co.uk/ss/help/help.jsp?page=terms&part=subs

(i) If we are unable to supply an item, a carefully selected alternative may be sent. If this alternative does not give full satisfaction then return it to us and all costs relating to that item will be refunded.

Assuming they put the PS3 on your "credit agreement" on the day they open it but then take more than one statement's period to get it delivered, the terms indicate you'd be into late fees, charges etc etc. You'd of course be in the right to try and ge them reclaimed/removed but Studio24 don't seem to have a great customer service history in that department.

Hopefully they've improved, none of this comes to pass and it all works for those who've ordered given the previous xbox scenario with this crowd. Will be a cracker of a deal if it does.

I did look at the Asda ps3 deal, which is pretty cheap but I don't want Battlefield 3 & pound for pound, if it happens, the 24studio deal is better value. bodderz I don't know why you keep asking me but i've already told you i have friends i just don't have friends who want to come and play computer games as they say they are children's games. I don't think tehy are. I like them and I'm 27 so how can they be just for children? a lot of my friends are older than me as I've always been very advanced for my age and quite a mature person so maybe that's why tehy don't like it. I would like to make friends with someone who plays computer games.

ok, so I got an invoice this morning issued for 116.99, saying bla bla bla ot nothing to worry about and pay off whenever you like, right.... as i have not received a single email regarding that transaction and new account I managed to register (again???) using my account number from my invoice and 'Existing Customers, Welcome back! Please register your account if you placed your first order with Studio recently, or you haven't used your Studio account on the site before'. Finally I was taken to my account details and orders placed:

Order Summary
Items Total: £ 129.99
Discount: £ 0.00
Insurance: £ 0.00
Postage & Packing: £ 0.00
Order Total: £ 116.99

Qty Item Ref Description Price

1 195-013-66QN COMPUTER GAME - PD 129.99 129.99 129.99

On the invoice it is said to allow upto 21 days for delivery, when logged into my account 'Awaiting dispatch'. As I always pay right away, however, this time I have used my credit card as you always get a better cover, when in trouble, than just a debit card. So, fingers crossed! I'll let you know when (or if) that turns up and what it is like. Hope it helped you a bit.

You do know that there are lots of games that you can play online, right? And you can talk to people while you're playing them. Then you won't need a friend to come round.

I already said I'm advanced for my age and most of the other people online are just kids. i know that from playing on my pc. i'd like to meet people my own age

I'm 30 but I wouldn't claim that I am advanced for my age. I like FPS games e.g. COD and CSS.

Sorry, but I'm not going to offer to come round your house and play with you.

Received my invoice this afternoon for £116.99 dated 20/10/11 advising allow 21 days etc..

It then says .."you will receive a statement shortly telling you how and when you should pay. Your statement will show your latest orders and payments, the total amount you owe and the payment you will need to send.

To me this seems like the kind of thing you would perhaps expect to receive in the package i.e. like a packing slip? Not really sure as I don't have any catalogue accounts

I like COD too that's why i wanted to get this ps3. i had an old fat ps3 but it broke when my house rabbit peed on the back of it. I have always had playstations right from the very first one.

My rabbit is dead too now. so I am hoping to replace the ps3 with either this studio deal or the asda deal and then I will also get a new rabbit when I can afford one.

actually that's a thought - I wonder if they ever have rabbit threads/deals on HUKD? I don't think i've ever seen one. I'll probably just use trade it like usual. I might get two rabbits this time and hope they last a bit longer. my rabbits don't ever seem to live for as long as people say they're meant to. if i find a good deal i will definitely put it on here.

Hi all. sorry, i had to go out.

No, the rabbit didn't die from the ps3. He escaped through the fence into next door's backgarden and we think their greyhound ate him.

RIP Clive. You'll always be in my heart.

I'm hoping I get my invoice tomorrow. Either way though my asda deal is meant to be delivered tomorrow so hopefully i will be playing on battlefield 3 by tomorrow afternoon!!! I CAN"T WAIT

I got the invoice too. PS3, £116.99, wow, etc.

One thing though - in the text of the letter it says "The total amount to pay is £116.99. "[great!] "You current have £183 left to spend" [err?]

Things that make you go hmm.. anyone know what that means? Anyone else's say that?

Received my invoice too, says allow 21 days for delivery (assume from invoice date though of 20th October). Bit annoyed as thought it might be with my by now - told 5-10 days when first signed up like everyone else.
Anyway have set up my account online and notice that if you try to look at statements there is nothing there yet but it states that the statement is normally produced within 21 days of RECEIPT of the goods, so no point paying until it actually turns up. Then I can just log in and pay, simples (in theory).
As an aside, a work colleague's wife uses 24Studio all the time, and says they're fine and has had no problems.
I just wish it would hurry up a turn up! This does look more and more like a simple customer drive by subsidising this PS3 to get a load of extra customers. If you think that credit card companies are willing to pay £50 cashback just for opening an account (Topcashback deal a few months ago), companies like this would be willing to chase customers for a fee as it can be quite lucrative.

28 Oct 11 1 #839
44.9% APR might explain why they thought it was worth selling for less - sure they'll make some money off people who can't resist the temptation of a credit account and are prepared to pay the minimum payment each month...

Here three. Called the make sure as the email I got from studio said allow 14 days for delivery but the invoice states 21 days. The customer adviser said the 21 days is the correct.

do yodel deliver for studio?

I received my invoice this morning!! I did the old front door trick with the postman again. He told me to get a life.

I've now registered as I have an account number and checked the order on the Studio website and it just says Awaiting dispatch, so the same as everyone else. I'm now eagerly 'awaiting' the 'dispatch'. Although hopefully my 320GB from asda will be delivered today. I have calculated that if I play battlefield 3 for 16 hours a day then I should be able to complete it and gain a reasonable online rank in time for when COD MW3 is released. That's 128 hours of SHEER FIRST PERSON SHOOTER ENJOYMENT HOOO-RAH even before COD is released. This is going to be THE BEST YEAR EVER

I'm getting to the stage where I'm not that hopeful really, they say they will send a statement after goods are received as its like a catalogue ac (I believe) so no need to pay beforehand. An order is an order at the end of the day and they should despatch whether you have paid in advance or not, I think if you do pay in advance it would just show as a credit on your account rather than apply to any particular purchase.
numptydumpty
29 Oct 11 2 #849
Well Gavin, like Rakim once said "Hit the studio, cos I'm paid in full"

I think the problem is that if you pay before the item is delivered and they then tell us that they can't deliver the item then it's better to have not paid as you won't have given them any money. They don't expect people to pay until they've received the goods. If you pay and don't receive what you've paid for then you have to get your money back and with these guys that's probably like trying to get a drink out of a scotsman!!! (i'm not racist - that's just a joke)
croydebay21 to numptydumpty
29 Oct 11 #850
Exactly !! they must have had thousands of orders for this, big company like this, they are not going to look and say "oh look that person paid so we will send them a PS3 !!!
