Introduce yourself to the sleek Sony PlayStation 3 Slim Game Console, featuring an advanced design that's smaller, lighter and more power-efficient than previous models, plus sophisticated internet, multimedia and Blu-ray capabilities that make it much more than just a groundbreaking games console. This model features a 160GB hard drive.
With serious power under its stylish hood, including IBM's Cell processor and a Sony/NVidia co-developed graphics processor that makes this system able to whizz through two trillion calculations per second, the PlayStation 3 Slim Game Console is 340 times as fast as the PlayStation 2.
A high-end multimedia super-performer ready to take its place at the heart of your home entertainment system, the Sony PlayStation 3 Slim Game Console uses the Blu-ray Disc media format, which can hold up to six times the amount of data as DVDs, to support increasingly amazing game-playing, as well as state-of-the-art movie watching - including support for 3D movies. Coupled with its processing power and advanced graphics processing, the potential of this sytem is almost unlimited, with jaw-dropping 3D and augmented reality games already arriving in stores and plenty more to come as its capabilities are explored by developers. Its revolutionary new controller contains an increadisensitive, accurate six-axis sensing system.

I bought the Sainsbury deal last week with 2 copies of Fifa 12...for £199.99.
I think they had a 2 week return policy so ........Took both copies of Fifa 12 back to customer services ....on 2 different days ......and asked for a credit note both times and both times they refunded my credit card £42.99 each for the games.
So 160gb PS3 Slim for £114.01........BARGAIN !!!

So... we all know mail order companies often say "Allow 28 days for delivery". I ordered less than 28 days ago and my goods have arrived. I used a mail order company, I got the item I wanted in the time I expected. I didn't get worked up, I let mail order companies do what they do. Be slow and inefficient, but I got my goods.
I think the problem with this thread is that people seem to forget this is a mail order company, whether they have a website or not. Tens of pages of people whining because all they do everyday is sit on the internet wishing things were instant and things didn't take time like the good ol' days. Receiving invoices in the post?? What is this madness.
Yes their computer system isn't great, and their customer service aren't able to do much more than read off their screens, this all can be improved, but welcome to the real world, this is how a lot of companies operate. They don't have the money to spend on complete system overhauls, and yes, it does cost a lot of money despite those of you who are sure they could write a better system. You live at your computers thinking they are the real world ignoring what is actually out there and how things actually work.
Anyways rant over. Mail order company gave me goods I ordered, I am happy  Well done all who stuck with it.

I have just logged into my STUDIO account and seen that to make a payment you go through NETBANX which i guess would mean it can't have been through Studio but i just can't remember if that was in place when i made my payment.

I don't suppose anyone else who ordered and paid from this site has been a victim of banking/identity fraud recently?
I very much doubt it but just throwing this out there in case.
I myself have been raped blind last week and the only reason i suspect STUDIO is they are the only people who i have made a payment with my bank card rather than my credit card recently apart from legitimate direct debits etc.
Reason i suspect them is:
A. Had to make account so maybe they got details through this process.
B. As above - used bank card to make payment.
As no one else has mentioned this by it now would seem it has nothing to do with them.
Thought i'd try anyway.

Rich,
Whilst I don't have my slim yet!!, that was the first thing my brother noticed/complained about with the slim ps3s... Their build is shoddy compared to the fats, features are less and they are actually noisier (or seem to be) when reading data from the disc!
RiderRich
15 Nov 11#1300
I have just started I using mine and have found that when the disc drive is accessing the disc, either on starting a game or during gameplay (mw3) the drive seems quite loud.
Does anyone else have this? I had an original 60gb phat and although the fans on it were louder than the new slim, the slim is louder when accessing the disc. Similar sound to an old inkjet printer??
Thanks
Rich

Well, I finally got my PS3 today, although I very nearly didn't get it at all. The delivery guy told my GF that I should have received it last week, but it was delivered to the wrong address! A bunch of parcels got delivered to a business firm about five or six miles away from me, and my PS3 was included in the parcels left. Luckily someone there notified DPD of the error and they went and picked it up for it to be delivered to me. Amateurs!
Thanks OP.

Thats why.... no loans or credit = zero credit rating... having not had any credit in the past makes you much as a risk as someone who defaulted on payments.... its impossible to assess the risk of someone who's never had credit.
Best option is to get a credit card and use it for purchases and then to pay it off in full as you use it to build a credit report file.

I had the exact same issue with iplayer. Follow these instructions and it will work:
Go to the Games tab of the XMB, then move up/down to the PSN Store icon. Wait for the 6 adverts to appear to the side. I actually navigated around these too, I don't know if that was necessary. Then move back to to new TV tab of the XMB and voilà,the “my channels” icon is present.

Funnily enough I received my PS3 yesterday and a letter today regarding cancelling my order/closing my account.
It basically said that they have been in touch with the appropriate dept but cannot guarantee it would be cancelled before dispatch. If I receive it in the mean time I can phone up for it to be collected.
After the PS3 was delivered I checked my online account and it showed the balance for the PS3 but said £0 is due until the next statement. I decided as it was showing the cost of the PS3 I would just pay straight away. Payment went through ok and said it would show on my account in 3 days.

Savo one of two options keep it and let the kids use and possibly sell the blueray player (although personally i wouldnt use the PS3 as a standalone player it will wear the lazer more)
OR
sell it on and make a little bit of profit as its an extremly good price (roughly £40+ profit)

already got an xbox in the front & back room + a subscription to Love Film on my s380 bluray player. How can I justify keeping this? Should I give my parents the s380 & keep the PS3, I watch a bit of downloaded stuff via an external hard drive, would this work as well on the ps3? I don't play a lot of games but have 3 young kids who might use it in the future. I think HUKD is turning me into Mr Greedy.

I just logged into my account and paid the balance using my credit card. It said I could expect the payment to show on my account in 3 working days. Knowing Studio it will take 3 weeks if it appears at all, that's why I used my credit card and not a debit card. I still don't trust them, even though I have a shiny PS3 sat in front of me.

10 Nov 118#1105
So... we all know mail order companies often say "Allow 28 days for delivery".

Can i ask........ why are people cancelling their orders if they have been given a dispatch date of 9th Dec ? Yes its a few weeks away, but its only £116 in some cases and long term would be worth the savings ?
Also.... im sure your aware, all the other PS3 on their site are showing in stock.....-- how about requesting a like for like option which is in stock ?
Your clock is broken... stopped in one place same as this deal

I called them last week (Tues 1st) after paying then finding out I wasn't going to get one shipped.
I then demanded my money back, the person on the phone said it can take a week or two to happen. So I was about to call them yesterday, but I checked my bank account and saw the money had been returned, I then logged onto the website to find I had £0 credit.
I'd give it a week from the moment you called to get your money back, and do a check like I had before pestering them again.

Luckily today, Studio have paid back the £129.99 I paid up front for the PS3. I'll never deal with the company again.
In the end, I gave in on the Sainsbury's £200 deal, and I'm cashing on FIFA and Battlefield for £60.
From now on, I'll definitely only shop at reputable places.

I rang them on 1.11.11 to cancel my order over the phone. Was told that was fine but it would take 3 days. Rang them back today (8.11.11) after checking my online account and seeing it still had a balance of 116.99. The person I spoke to was called Natalie. Refused to give her last name. Said that it was taking longer than usual but she didn't know why, but said it would be cancelled by the end of the week. I then emailed them a copy of that conversation and asked that they acknowledged receipt of the email, which they haven't yet. If my order has not been cancelled by Monday 14th I will start contacting Trading Standards and the FSA ombudsman, and I told them that in the email I sent today. I have also got the names of directors and other board members for the parent company. The way they are behaving is outrageous.

Thank you for your advice, very helpful, she actually said that they put this down as a personalised item, but she couldnt understand why they did this, but your post explains it, they are being crafty !! I might consider accepting it, selling it on and paying off the account straight away, otherwise I can see it might be problematic. I emailed them over a week ago and guess what...no reply!

I cancelled this item a week ago, was told to phone back after 2 days to cancel my account. Phoned back and was told to call back in 7 days. Called today and was told the item "might not be able to be cancelled as its a "personalised item" !!!! What a con, just hope I get the out of stock letter now. The lady did say that if it's delivered, I should accept it and not refuse delivery because then it could be stolen, she said its better to accept it and then return it !!! I have cancelled it as it was a pressie for my son's birthday and the delivery is now too late:( Totally bad company I wish I had never ordered:(

They cannot force you to accept a delivery if you have cancelled the order before dispatch. They cannot claim the item might be stolen if you refuse delivery - it is there responsibility to ensure the order is either delivered or returned to them via their designated courier.
This is certainly not a personalised product in any shape or form. Do not keep phoning them back, send them an e-mail or write them a letter and keep a copy of everything you send. Stand your ground, you are well within your rights.
If you do accept the delivery, I doubt they will let you return the item without you taking legal action. They have told you this is a personalised order, which is excluded from their returns policy. See "NON-RETURNABLE GOODS" - http://www.24studio.co.uk/ss/help/help.jsp?page=terms&part=returns

Thanks so much for the spam, everyone.
Thanks for posting so many of the same exact comments merely written in a different way.
Thanks for posting so many irrelevant stories unrelated to the seller or the item being sold, or the many comments basically saying 'I have cancelled my order' but prolonging these comments to the point of excessive text and making it into more of a monologue of your life.
No doubt my comment here is going to be flamed, possibly even removed, and flaming comments will be liked and quoted in support of those flaming me.
I've reported this thread as containing a lot of spam - but nothing will be done about it.
On a side note: thanks to all those posting relevant information about how to contact the seller and approximate dates of dispatch, in addition to helping out with other concerns with this purchase.
I didn't know whether to end this on
'Flame on' or 'Let the flames begin'!

52 pages in. Did anyone who ordered read some of the posts while this thread was still reasonably new and think "Maybe I shouldn't order from this crowd". Particularly given they seem to have done some shady "stock unavailable after you order" stuff before and have some less than favourable reviews listed against them.
That said, you never know. Perhaps a tranche of PS3s will turn up on 9th December and all the orders will get honoured. Hopefully they do.

I've found this quote on the Sale of Goods Act when dealing online. Under the distance selling regulations, the goods must be delivered or the service carried out within the time period they have specified. If no time period is specified, then the statutory time limit is 30 days (unless you have agreed otherwise). If the supplier is unable to fulfil their obligations within 30 days, they must inform you before the end of the 30 day deadline. They may offer you an alternative date for delivery, but you are under no obligation to accept and are quite within your rights to ask for a full refund.
I don't believe that after 30 days you can buy it elsewhere and claim the difference. Besides they have informed us before the 30 days that delivery is expected in December. As along as they keep updating us with a date then we have no comeback apart from having the right to cancel.

Just got a call back from the manger, was told i would get a letter in the post in the next 7-14 days informing me the item is out of stock, and the supplier will re-supply some time in December. I think she said 9 December.
So those who are prepared to wait (although December date is likely to change to), may get one. bearing in mind, they don't ask for no money untill item is delievered, so you have nothing to loose (other than time).
s2frost to yaf1111
3 Nov 11#1018
I bet they don't. The credit account was debited once your invoice was sent. Your 54 or so days before interest is added starts right there. Good luck with that. Thankfully at that point, you have a contract for them to provide the goods within a reasonable period of time, which under the circumstances happens to be 30 days, after this time they are liable to pay your costs in fulfilling the contract elsewhere. See my later post and thank your UK consumer law.
s2frost
3 Nov 112#1017
Hello all.
Just to let you know:
Once the contract of sale is in force (you have paid or your credit account has been debited or you have received an invoice) then you are entitled to receive your PS3 within the agreed time or if no such time was agreed then the statutory term is 30 days.
Since they will not at present even receive stock within 30 days, so long as you first contact them in good faith and ask them to remedy the situation, upon non delivery (delivery outside the agreed period) since this would be a breach of the contract which exists between you, you are entitled to seek a remedy under the sale of goods act, to make good, one of which includes but is not limited to:
- You may: Buy the goods on the open market (Amazon) paying the current (full) market price.
- You can: Send them the bill for costs including any other costs you reasonably incurred resulting from their breach of contract.
So if you are willing to wait up to 30 days from the date of placing your order, you can simply go out to Sainsburys and pick it up (if you can cover the cost where you already paid off the credit agreement).
It should be noted that if you bought the goods on credit, their claim (of debt) against you would in any case not be enforcable since the goods were never delivered.Just make sure you do not accept any subsequent delivery (you do not have to.)
Furthermore DO NOT PAY OFF YOUR CREDIT ACCOUNT WITH THEM IN CASH. If you must pay it, pay it with another credit card. The reason for this is that if you DO pay off the credit agreement and the company folds without your having received a PS3, it will be unlikely you will see either the console or your cash.
Note: If you paid your Studio24 balance by credit card you are covered doubly via your card's credit agreement, and in any case by the consumer credit act in both cases.
Ultimately if you don't get a PS3 within 30 days, it's ultimately their problem, make sure you communicate this to them, and I'm certain they will see sense in simply making it right.
The information I have stated here is freely available in various different forms at UK government consumer sites if they need a pointer.
Surely they're hoping a few people will cancel first.
Don't forget, keep a full log of any contact you have and their responses, as well as to keep copies of your agreements, orders and invoices.
Hope this helps. Good luck. Stay on it and enjoy your PS3!
Hopefully they will remedy this whole mess for the lot of us, it wouldn't do their reputation any good, and would be far more costly to see lots of negative comments on the internet.

After finding out it won't be until December now until we could possibly receive this, I was tempted to cancel too and go for the Sainsburys deal but I've decided to hang on, it's still a saving of £85 over the Sainsburys one and it's too good to pass up, I just hope it pulls through in the end, not given them a penny yet of course and neither should anyone else who is still waiting for one.
One thing though, has anyone on here actually got one yet? When it was first advertised that implies they have stock yes? So howcome at least some of the people on here who got an order in first have not received it? Surely that's wrong on Studios part.

I got the same response, the girl cancelled it immediately, as per my previous post, she didnt sound hopeful I would get it anyway. She told me to call in a couple of days once order was off the system to close my account. If the delivery is over a month away I can't see the problem with them cancelling an order? I never checked the OP of this thread until now. They signed up and posted the deal, and haven't been seen since. They also posted an out of stock PS3 "deal" from the GAME website (maybe to cover their tracks?). Seems a little suspicious to me.

I agree this is looking like a very deliberate scam to get pre-christmas credit agreements set up.
They also appear to be in breech off their own T&C for delivery as there was no indication of extended delivery on the site when ordering. . .
"i) With our standard delivery service (excluding personalised items), you should receive your goods within 3-7 days. Please allow 5-10 days for delivery of personalised items. Please note, some products will take longer than 7 days to be delivered, although these instances are highlighted next to the relevant items on the catalogue page or the item details page on this site."

Nice deal
I am tempted by the £200 Sainsburys deal with 2 games. Although in another threat a Sainsburys employee mentions that they have some good deals on consoles this Wednesday. Seems some confusion if the deal is Xbox 360 or PS3 though.

Yep - I just found 01254 302222 as mine is showing up 12th Dec for dispatch. It goes through to the same number as the premium rate number they use.
Have just called them and they can't cancel my order! They said to call back once/if it gets delivered and they will arranged for collection.....

I'll wait until December and see what happens. They cannot make me pay for a product I've not received.

1 Nov 11#958
I am the same. I was asked to pay £29.00 because they only gave me a £100 credit limit. Then for some strange reason after I paid the £29.00 excess they put my credit limit up to £158.00 on the same day. I just wonder how long it will be before we get it paid back. We might have a fight on our hands there and may have to wait weeks or even months.
But your in credit on your account now... so you could buy something else which is overpriced... -

1 Nov 11#936
I love how people think this is a scam, rather than a misprice on an outdated mail order system that's not really designed for the internet. I wonder how many 9/11 and vaccine denouncers use this site
kl3095 to dreamager
1 Nov 11#951
I disagree, it was a scam, and the proof is. The very next day, they had pulled the page from the website at this price. Which means the very next day they were aware of the problem. Yet even though they knew of the problem, they did not mass e-mail misprice and cancel the orders. They deliberatly got people signed up to credit agreements, and asked people for money for an order they were aware was a mistake, this is bordering on fraud!
kl3095
1 Nov 11#950
Because as I stated in comment, not sure on which body will cover this. I am thinking the advertising standards, because at no point have they stated it was a misprice. So therefore advertised a product that wasn't ever available, at a low price to entice new customers. Its a similar thing that Tesco got a huge fine for last year, for advertising sale products, then never having any in store.

I also called today, and was instantly told 14 days till delivery. I told them to look again and then got the Oh, yeah! its out of stock till Dec. They are just script Monkeys and dont have a clue.
I think if they made a mistake then its a fair cop, and they should have just cancelled all orders, But to set up credit accounts and take money, with no intention of fulfilling a single order is completely out of order.
I think the scale of this and their history of repeated offending deserves a mail to our friends at watchdog . .
I just rang them. Cancelled my order and was told I couldn't close the account for a few days, until the order cancellation had gone through. I asked them to email me confirmation that the order had been cancelled. I'll phone back in a few days to close my account. Still waiting for Asda to deliver my 320GB console after several ****-ups thanks to Home Delivery Network. HDN make Studio24 look competent and professional.

Why are people thinking they need to cancel asap to avoid any fees exactly?
"Details of payment methods, your minimum payment and the due date, will be detailed on your first statement. The statement will only be received after all the below parcels have been dispatched, you do not need to make any payment until you are instructed to do so on your statement. "
Surely you will only need to pay something once you receive a statement...which you will not get until AFTER anything is delivered?! As for people paying before anything was sent, unfortunately you were warned.

The other half has cancelled her account and the never to be PS3 order.
She asked the guy if she would have got the PS3 had she stayed he said at full price yes but at this price it's doubtful unless we are supplying re-cons units...
So some of you might get one albeit a re-con..

I phoned this morning and I said I was cancelling because the order would come after my son's birthday, although I have never quite believed that we would get these. When I said I wonder if I should hang out for a belated present, she said well things sometimes happen with the manufacturer and goods have to be cancelled. So I took that as a NO, and cancelled. I have been to Sainsburys, got the one with the two games, used the £8 off voucher I got and my £50 Nectar points money off and hope to learn from the experience and sell the two games. Good luck to the rest of you waiting for one, I really hope that Studio come through! BTW I have to call back in 2 days to cancel account as she said they have to make sure I don't owe them anything ...JOKE !!!

Just called to ensure my order had been canceled (it was) and asked to cancel my account as well, he said he would pass me to the relevent department for it and kept me on the line, a minute later it was him again asking if there was anything else he could help me with, I said no. He said ok I'll pass you to the relevent department and once again kept me on the line, a minute later it was him again asking if there was anything else he could help me with! I said no I just want to close my account, he said ok I've emailed them and they will close my account. I asked if I would receive any confirmation of this and he said no but he could give me verbal confirmation now. Haha what a joke, I gave up there, don't believe my account has been canceled but they can't chase me for money so I'll settle for that.

I wish the heat for expired deals could be changed. If 24Studio pull this stunt again in the future, so many people will be drawn in by the heat on this deal (assuming they won't read the full 47 pages) that the same thing will happen.

I completely agree. To be fair, they should just be banned from this site, it has happened to other merchants in the past.
Companies like HMV who cancel orders or mistake are pretty upfront about it (no matter how annoying it is), these guys are all over the place, like I said just an hour or so ago I was promised my order will definitely be arriving.
24Studio are a shower of s***. If they do pull a big stunt on this one, I hope they're banned.

Withdrawal rights from your agreement are in force up to 14 days after they tell you what your credit limit is by writing to them at Customer Care Department, Preston PR0 2BP or by phoning on 0871 200 0378 (or non-geo equivalent). The withdrawal clause must still be in force for everyone surely (since it was first posted less than 14 days ago?)
If you've paid up front i don't see anything in the terms that would preclude them from returning your money immediately or at least within a reasonable time. IMHO, ten days to return your cash doesn't seem wholly reasonable but that's just me.

So so so. All happening this morning.
I ordered late on 19th Oct (Wednesday night when the offer was available) - product was listed in stock. All good. Received the first email acknowledging the order. I then rang on the 21st, saying I've not seen any progress since the order, what was happening? The lady on the phone said, that letters were set out that day, and simply it will explain that it'll need to be paid for in advance for them to process the order. Fine, I thought.
Saturday just passed (29th) I received that said letter which was dated on the 21st. I then paid the £129.99 online.
It came to yesterday, Monday (31st), I then called asking there was still no progress on my order. The guy affirmed to me on the phone, it's fine I can see you've paid (as it was showing I'm £129.99 in credit) and the order will be processed that day. Excellent I thought.
Then this morning, I received the email:
"Sorry, the following items are not currently available & will not be sent".
Opening post

I won't incur any charges as they can't charge the account until they have dispatched the goods.
The people who paid up front, Im sorry but you lot are mugs but I do hope you get your monies back.

Once i know for sure the source i will delete these posts.
After ordering about 5-6 weeks ago, they are saying tough titties - its permanently out of stock - they don't care if I placed my order when it was fully in stock - they deny that anyone has been sent the PS3 for that price
What a terrible, terrible company

Been playing f1 which I bought from a deal spotted on here, ordered dirt3...from a deal on here and gt5 from a deal on here...
Waiting a little for the fifa12 deals to start
Gosh they look so cheap compared to the 60gb phat. Even to the first slims that came out!
Whilst I don't have my slim yet!!, that was the first thing my brother noticed/complained about with the slim ps3s... Their build is shoddy compared to the fats, features are less and they are actually noisier (or seem to be) when reading data from the disc!
Does anyone else have this? I had an original 60gb phat and although the fans on it were louder than the new slim, the slim is louder when accessing the disc. Similar sound to an old inkjet printer??
Thanks
Rich
DPD also delivered mine to the wrong address on the first attempt. A different driver did the second delivery.
Thanks OP.
Best option is to get a credit card and use it for purchases and then to pay it off in full as you use it to build a credit report file.
I got a despatch email on the 9th, but I haven't heard a thing since. They haven't even tried to deliver.
Gotta be the best bargain Ive had through HotUKDeals. Big Thanks to the OP.
Just be careful though guys, you don't get an invoice through with the PS3 as stated, you need to check all the Christmas stuff they have sent out for your Account number, otherwise after 1/12/11, interest will be charged!

I'm on the DPD system - ignore the tracking number. Call them on 08445560560 and eventually speak to a person. Using your postcode, the lady was able to track. It's out for delivery with a specific 1 hour time window. You can even leave a message to leave with any particular neighbour if you are going to be out.
Its kind of funny that some people got worry and jumped ship cancelling their orders....

So how do I pay? Do I wait for it to show on my account?
Has anyone successfully paid up online? Or are you waiting for a statement to come?
Any must have PS3 accessories I should know about? Do these slims suffer from overheating or has that problem been fixed now?

How are people paying off the account? Now online? Or will you wait for the "Statement"? Is there a statement with the parcel?
Finally considering the offer, the turnaround this is turning out to be a great deal. Patience...

What firmware do these PS3's have... anyone?
I just logged into my account and paid the balance using my credit card. It said I could expect the payment to show on my account in 3 working days. Knowing Studio it will take 3 weeks if it appears at all, that's why I used my credit card and not a debit card. I still don't trust them, even though I have a shiny PS3 sat in front of me.
I have never bought anything on credit before, let alone from Studio.
Do I have to wait for my statement to arrive in the post before I can make payment?

This is certainly not a personalised product in any shape or form. Do not keep phoning them back, send them an e-mail or write them a letter and keep a copy of everything you send. Stand your ground, you are well within your rights.
If you do accept the delivery, I doubt they will let you return the item without you taking legal action. They have told you this is a personalised order, which is excluded from their returns policy. See "NON-RETURNABLE GOODS" - http://www.24studio.co.uk/ss/help/help.jsp?page=terms&part=returns
I didn't know whether to end this on
'Flame on' or 'Let the flames begin'!

i) With our standard delivery service (excluding personalised items), you should receive your goods within 3-7 days. Please allow 5-10 days for delivery of personalised items. Please note, some products will take longer than 7 days to be delivered, although these instances are highlighted next to the relevant items on the catalogue page or the item details page on this site. Orders are delivered to the address of the account holder unless an alternative delivery address is specified. If you would like your goods to be sent to a different address please ensure that you complete the 'Delivery Address' section (including full postcode) on your orderform, provide the details to the operator if ordering by telephone or amend the relevant section when ordering via the Internet (please note this does not apply to a new customer's initial order). Postage and packaging will be charged at a fixed rate of £4.99 per order within mainland UK; £5.99 to N. Ireland; £6.00 to the Scottish Offshore Islands and remote parts of the Scottish Mainland (please contact the Careline for details); £7.50 to the Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Isles of Scilly.
(ii) Items marked with a heavy goods symbol heavy goods symbol incur separate delivery charges. These are included in the "Price Each" shown in your basket. For information, please refer to your catalogue/leaflet or the item details page on this site. To arrange for safe delivery of your goods you will be asked to provide a daytime and evening (if different) contact telephone number when completing your order. Please note, we do not deliver Heavy Goods to the Channel Islands.
The onus would appear to be on them to inform and not on us to find out - if nothing else it is a good argument :-)

So those who are prepared to wait (although December date is likely to change to), may get one. bearing in mind, they don't ask for no money untill item is delievered, so you have nothing to loose (other than time).
Has anyone else NOT received an invoice?
I'm not fussed it comes or not tbh. I have one now and if it does, it will hit the fleabay.
25% off all ps3 consoles
Definitely nationwide instore but not sure if available online.
What's the chances of Studio having some similar deal with Sony for around the same time which fits in with the delivery times now being stated by Studio?
Just a thought!!!
(And thank you for the non 084 number - worked just the same)
One thing though, has anyone on here actually got one yet? When it was first advertised that implies they have stock yes? So howcome at least some of the people on here who got an order in first have not received it? Surely that's wrong on Studios part.
I got a catalogue from them today too, probably plenty of those in stock!
I cancelled my PS3 but the guy said it would take 5-7 days to cancel,is this what all you other cancelling folk were told as well?
Many thanks in advance.
If it don't come then don't pay it's as easy as that.
I only wanted to make the 1000 comment lol
'cancel phone' or 'cancel e-mail'
as reading the same
'oh this is taking forever, I'm going to cancel now' or 'oh what a stupid company, i'm going to have to wait months for this item and the call center is not helping me at all'
as much as I agree that it is unacceptable for us to be treated like this, with the waits and the cancellations and what not (welcome to Capitalism), the spam is getting kinda f---ing annoying'.
Are you Charlie Sheen?
I place an order, got the 1st email, then the 2nd email and I've received an invoice in the post.
Am I running around like a mad man?! Am I f**k! I'm just going to wait until they deliver or cancel.
I won't incur any charges as they can't charge the account until they have dispatched the goods.
The people who paid up front, Im sorry but you lot are mugs but I do hope you get your monies back.
I cant see what all the fuss is about
Fingers crossed that's it over and done with.
It's gotta be a pricing error. I'm going to wait to see if I receive it.

Also sent them a letter stating the same. Sent first class recorded, so they have to sign for it.
Fingers crossed there are no problems to follow :-)
I'll ring and cancel tomorrow, thanks for the number.

They also appear to be in breech off their own T&C for delivery as there was no indication of extended delivery on the site when ordering. . .

I am tempted by the £200 Sainsburys deal with 2 games. Although in another threat a Sainsburys employee mentions that they have some good deals on consoles this Wednesday. Seems some confusion if the deal is Xbox 360 or PS3 though.
Have just called them and they can't cancel my order! They said to call back once/if it gets delivered and they will arranged for collection.....
Keith
OP just gone from HUKD after posting this deal...
I think if they made a mistake then its a fair cop, and they should have just cancelled all orders, But to set up credit accounts and take money, with no intention of fulfilling a single order is completely out of order.
I think the scale of this and their history of repeated offending deserves a mail to our friends at watchdog . .
http://www.bbc.co.uk/watchdog/gotastory/
Otherwise they will just keep on doing it.
Sorry cannot cancel the order so if you give me details i will pass your details to the warehouse where we can get this order cancelled. and they were saying i may/may not get account charges.
well they can ******* they wont be getting any money from me.
WTF.

She asked the guy if she would have got the PS3 had she stayed he said at full price yes but at this price it's doubtful unless we are supplying re-cons units...
So some of you might get one albeit a re-con..
Cancellation rights exist up to 7 days after you've received the goods so surely they are still in force for everyone since nobody, rather unsurprisingly, got the goods they ordered.

Please pay me.
So now, I'm £129.99
