I needed a van for a couple of hours and wanted to know if anyone rented the van by the hour.
Searched on google and found that Europcar do for £5.99 an hour which i Thought was pretty good
Van hire from £5.99 per hour
Moving house? Blitzing the DIY? Transforming the garden in time for summer evenings? From minivans to Lutons with tail-lifts for heavy items, we've got the vehicle for the job.
With van hire from Europcar you can rely on great value and flexibility. You won't have to pay for the van for any longer than you need it: simply hire by the hour from just £5.99.
So no more putting it off! Clear out that greenhouse, buy that new three-piece suite or get the garden ready for summer - all with the help of a Europcar van.

Nice find!
Beware of the excess though...

You can reduce the excess for £9.29 per day.
It may seem a lot but if the van is damaged - even if it's not your fault - you'll be liable for the excess. Having to pay £600 'cos some berk hits you while you're parked up will be a bit painful.

I put in the datails to hire for two hours on 18th May in Bolton and if you follow the booking through and click on the Transit Van it then offers you TWO DAYS hire for £13.98 if you pay online and £15.98 if you pay on collection.
Does anyone know if this is right:?

I was looking to see if I could pick this up and drop it off at another location. Doing this would be cheaper than public transport. Seems they only allow the discount if you take it back to the same place.
I'm pretty sure it's meant to say hours, not days.
