I use an electric bike to commute to work and mine cost me a lot more than £399 so this could be a bargain for somone. Mine saves me a lot of money in fuel tyres etc

these cycles are GOOD, i have one for last year done over 750 miles on it with no effort! have front child seat and take grandkids out on it most days when weather is ok for them!

Never understood the point of electric push bikes. Firstly they're heavier, so you'll need to work harder to move forwards when not using the motor.
Secondly it seems abit like they're for lazy cyclists. And thirdly, if you're gonna spend that sort of money on a bike, you would want to get decent quality components.
Your body is perfectly capable of doing that 15-20km/hour on a bike even if it's tired. The more you do it too the easier you will find it in future.

Seems like a good deal if you are in need of a commuting solution and perhaps not able to pedal. I prefer to do all the pedalling though, better for fitness.

Tesco are selling the meerkat metro for £350 though it only has 24km range
I would consider buying one - has anyone actually got one?
