Tickets will be allocated by random draw with 40% of the tickets going to Leeds and Bradford postcodes*, 30% to surrounding Yorkshire postcodes** and 30% going to the rest of the UK.
The event, which takes place at Sports Park Weetwood (part of the University of Leeds) on Thursday 24 August, will feature ex-England players Michael Vaughan and Phil ‘Tuffers’ Tufnell, who will captain the teams, along with celebrities such as Greg James of Radio 1, Harry Judd from McFly, Tom Felton who played Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty, comedians Andy Parsons and Dom Joly, actor and dancer Adam Garcia and athlete Yohan Blake.
England cricket stars taking to the crease include Graeme Swann, Simon Hughes, Ebony Rainford Brent, Charlotte Edwards, Lydia Greenway, Isa Guha and Ed Smith, while Test Match Special commentators hoping to hit a six include Alison Mitchell, Simon Mann, Charles Dagnall and Fazeer Mohammed.
