As an educator for more than 20 years, I’m a fan of teaching others. And there is no greater challenge than to learn a language. Learning Spanish is such a challenge, but enriching on so many levels. It’s not only an intellectual challenge, but imagine transforming your travel experiences, allowing you to connect with new and interesting people, or even live or study in places like Barcelona, Madrid, Mexico City or Buenos Aires! In essence, it’s a journey to become more open minded about the world, discovering amazing new people in the process.

Over the course of this book, I will convey enough knowledge of Spanish so that you will be able to read, listen, and interact with people in this new language with the knowledge that will inspire confidence. In learning Spanish, you will be facing 5 basic but important challenges; grammar, vocabulary, slang and colloquialism, pronunciation and variations of the language. In this book, I will lay out the fundamentals of each of these stepping stones in an easy to understand method.

Bought Learn Spanish While You Sleep CD a while ago. Works well but the only slight glitch is that I can only speak it while I'm asleep.

Hot, but...
It really takes years to learn a language, unless your idea of mastering a language is your stereotypical expat in Spain ordering a beer and claiming to know the language. Then you need to spend considerable time abroad. I studied German for twenty years, only to realise I had picked the wrong expressions for years when I eventually worked in Germany. Likewise for Dutch. In only six months of living in a border town between Germany and the Netherlands I was able to achieve a level B1 certificate in both languages.

I find that I need to read and listen to words to learn anything , or listen in English and then speak the Spanish word a couple times
are there any good podcasts etc for Spanish that do something like that , or a youtube ?
it would nice to have this playing in the background just to become familiar with the words

I just don't get what to do?
I don't have a Kindle (my phone is Android). I've purchased the Spanish one via Amazon.co.uk (from PC) for £0.00 but dunno how to use it without free trial of Kindle Unlimited? If I downlaod the Kindle app on my phone will that link to my normal Amazon accnt and see my orders? I have Prime if that means anything. Thanks :man:

Ok You need the app installed from the amazon link first
There are some extra books to supplement the "One Week Mastery" books, like the "SPANISH PHRASEBOOK: THE COMPLETE TRAVEL PHRASEBOOK FOR TRAVELING TO SPAIN AND SOUTH AMERICA". All of them a free. You can find them on this link.
Thank you very much! And thanks to the helpful people in the comments who linked additional versions such as German and Chinese :-)!

All these books give you are lists of common English words and their "foreign" equivalent of the word, and a short list of useful expressions. In NO WAY do these books teach you to speak the language! One week mastery? Yeah right.

Thanks very much, been tinkering with spanish for a while through google translate and youtube subtitles. This should be useful too.
Got it., thanks. Just being cautious. I think it should be pointed NOT to press "Read it for free" which does lock you into the Kindle Unlimited (which isn't free!).
Instead you should choose "buy" which is the free Kindle book. Easy mistake to make.

I suppose it's possible, intensive 16 hour sessions for 7 days a week. Most languages use 500 main words, so once you master that I think you'll be alright.
