This weekend, the pandemic-ravaged streets of The Division’s Manhattan are yours to explore for free. Starting May 4, you’ll be able to download and play the full game at no cost on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and hit the streets as an agent of the elite Division to reclaim Manhattan.
Starting May 4 and running until May 7 (see below for exact times and dates for each platform), the free weekend is a chance to temporarily experience the Standard edition’s content – including its co-op features, its PvP Dark Zone, and a year’s worth of tweaks and improvements – the same way you would if you’d bought the game. And if you decide you want to keep adventuring after the free period ends, you can grab the Standard or Gold edition at a hefty discount for a limited time and continue where you left off, with your skills and inventory intact.

All I want is the survival Dlc, but I'm not buying it and the game, they should just spin it off into a standalone thing.

Survival is brilliant and its a shame that more people don't play it...Apart from that its been a broken game since day one, devs are slowly improving things. But not quick enough to keep the players

how much will it be discounted i wonder.had a go on the demo and liked the AI but heard single player gets a bit sammey but still wort a play.

I'm pretty sure you've been able to pick up a physical copy for about a tenner for a while, then you can sell it for a few quid in a week or so when you've seen all it has to offer :smiley:

FFS bought this ages ago but haven't played it yet. Took it out the plastic just to install it, could've sold it brand new.

thanks but i stick to digital only these days as when scorpio lands you effectivily own the same game twice similar to xbox 360 transition to xbox one.i got 3TB used up on my XO with digital already. Not forgetting buying games digitaly allows free download of pc version.microsoft were right to with there DRM on discs which got pulled as it was unpopular.know one wants discs gathering dust around the house the future is streaming and uhd and digital only.Example i bought batman for XO for £21 from CEX a year ago now it's worth £12 pointless keeping discs hoping to recoup dosh when console sold makes pennies.

I played this when it was released, but soon got fed up with the DZ and doing the same **** again and again, I revisited it a month or 2 ago and it's much improved, plus the DLC is quite good, Last Stand/survival, just need a tweak or 2 but pretty soon it'll be Division 2!

This is exactly why i always wait, only buy games that im gonna play within the next week or so as often you might get a game and not get round to it for months, it drops in price and in some cases even free

Hey! Has anyone decided to buy this after playing it?
I just played a few single and first co-op?
Find food... find morphine.... rescue hostages in bank
then was a team mission against rioters at a police station and was fun... someone healed me! I chose medic for my first ability to scan and should have maybe got heal? I was level 3?
after that there was a cut scene in a helicopter and we went to some new military zone with medical contamination facilities and the group disbanded so I quit
