Not sure if open to everybody, but I did pre register and have just downloaded it and had a quick play.
Does seem pretty good to me, very similar to the PSP / Vita versions, but with updated graphics, etc. Of course the controls will take some getting used to for oldies like me but seems like a quality game of pocket football.
Just looked and seems to be also available on my iPad as a free download (did not prevent register on that one), just downloading now.

Looks like it will always be free, with in-app purchases? Or is this a temporary thing? It isn't flagged as being on sale.

Love the franchise, but can't find it on Google play. Is there a link?

Yeah I was having issues linking it, but just search on the play store and it should come up, not sure if 'fully released' yet or just to those of us who prefer registered, if others could advise, thanks.
On the Apple store I did a search for PES 2017, and actually had to scroll down a little bit to get it, which was a little odd, but it's there (about '2nd-3rd page' down
