Is there a way to download widgets created by other people using this app?

yeah first add a KWGT widget to your homescreen how you do that varys with devices/launchers but usually just press and hold the screen, once the widgets added resize it (if your launcher lets you) then tap the widget to go into edit mode. Then you should see some widgets pick whatever you like or press the Google Play icon at the top of the screen to get more or press the 2nd icon from the right to start building your own from scratch.

it does a lot more than clocks and weather widgets lets say you love using a certain music player app but its widget is incredibly fugly. This app lets you build your own music widget that works with any music player. You can even show your notifications, RSS Feeds, maps, pretty much anything there's a lot of prebuilt FREE widgets called Komponents on Google Play here's 1 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.widget.milus

Can you change your lock screen with just this or do you need another app to put your creation on to the lock screen?
Thanks

Its a widget creator widgets are really for the homescreen they were supported on lockscreens but in newer Android versions that's no longer the case. As far as i'm aware some manufacturers do still support them on there though. If you can add standard system widgets to your lockscreen you should be able to add widgets made with KWGT.

Quick question about time-limited free apps in the Play store : it always used to be that when these apps were given away for free for a short time, if you uninstalled it or changed your phone, you had to pay to reinstall it. Now the Play store shows these apps as being on sale, does that mean they are permanently added to your account? Just wondering...

it will always be in you're download history. An nope once you have downloaded the app it will always remain free.

I usually just hit purchase and as it downloads hit the cross to cancel.
It'll give me a licence for the app, meaning I own a digital copy and can re download it when I see fit. It's then only useless when the devs stop supporting the newer firmwares.

They are permanently added to your play account so if you uninstall/get a new phone you will still able to install it without paying again. You should also be able to see it on your Account > Order History page since it's classed as an order.
