Not really sure where this should go, as its always been free. So probably isn't technically a 'freebie'. However I thought I'd share it, as it's a really good app. I've now replaced Gmail with this... as well as linking all my other accounts. All of which have push notifications fully enabled. It was easy to set up too.

BlueMail is the perfect replacement for your stock email app.
With a powerful unified accounts experience packaged in an intuitive and easy to use design, Blue Mail provides a top notch email service.

Blackberry Hub on Android is by far the best e-mail client.

I use Outlook now. Going with Microsoft since I'm not happy with BlueMail developers being anonymous. I'm sure would be fine, but to be on the safe side...
As a student, I can manage my Office 365 mail account, Gmail and Hotmail. Seems good so far.

Used this for years and same with security concerns, uninstalled and went for aqua mail.
Few quid for the full version, takes a bit of time to set up and get right but is brilliant
After I installed Blue Mail on my phone I noticed that the lights on my router would suddenly go berserk even though I wasn't using anything at the time that was connected to it (laptop, ipad etc.). After a search on Google I found out about Blue Mail connecting to Chinese servers and deleted the app. Was it coincidence that the router returned to it's normal state afterwards?

I used to use CloudMagic, now Newton, and it was a really good app but then it went subscription based and the sub cost is too expensive for me (it's almost the same cost as my yearly tariff) . I switched to BlueMail and I don't miss CloudMagic at all, it does everything I need it to, with a nice interface and its easy to use - I've never been frustrated with it and I manage like six email addresses. Can't speak to the permissions part as I suppose I didn't look at it closely, but app wise it's good.

Try Alto by AOL.
Possibly better than Cloudmagic/Newton, but like all these email apps (OP one included) you have to be comfortable with all your emails being routed through their servers.
And if you use it for work email, this might breach your IT/email policy!

Great email app. Got rid of the Gmail app as it would continuously reload deleted emails for about an hour.

np - I'll see if I can dig out the email thread I had with their support a year or so ago - Won't be til Monday though I'm afraid.
Have to say - I've been happy with TypeApp (aka BlueMail) for over a year now with multiple email accounts using Exchange/EAS & IMAP with very few issues (minor at that). Support have always been helpful when contacted.

Thanks for the info. Not sure what the differences are supposed to be - looking at the screen shots of Blue, it looks exactly like Type!

Why not just post ever single relatively good app on Google's play store while your at it, so I can keep getting random notifications.

Hi - yes - BlueMail & TypeApp are created by the same company. Pretty much the
same under the hood code with different user interfaces - aimed at different types of user. They are open to this question being asked of them.

Just look at these 2 permission for the App, without even looking at others

Ok, I'm a little confused... I used Blue Mail some time ago, but it changed its name to Type Mail , which I'm still using today. Is this Blue Mail related to Type Mail?

This is probably the best email App I have tried to date. Way better than any phone manufacturer's stock email app and much more convenient than having different apps for each email provider.
