Awesomenauts is a 2D MOBA that has just gone F2P! Each week you get a random set of free Awesomenauts to try. When you play the game, you unlock Awesomepoints which let you buy Awesomenauts permanently. Alternatively, you can pay real money to buy nauts or buy a pack that gives you access to them all.

Game is awful now, used to play it back when it came out on xbox 360 and swiftly bought it on pc release.
Now with all the pay to win character dlc and skin fest it's just not even fun anymore.

You can choose to go straight and unlock those characters with in-game currency now. But really, it is a case of, "I don't have those characters, Nibbs and Skree are so overpowered." for everyone. Then whenever you get those characters it suddenly turns to "Oh I'm just bad at the game".
Most of the characters are viable, I main two base game nauts and one (previously) DLC naut at league 3. My skill is definitely holding me back at that level rather than the characters.

There was a small controversy recently that with 4.0 you couldn't play without an Internet connection which meant there was a lot of negative reviews recently so I believe the score was even a bit higher.
My personal opinion on the game is: "Why play another MOBA?". I love it to bits :smile:
