My first posting here, I think it's a brilliant one! It's something i've been using for a long while now.
Through your library you should be able to get a login to Zinio, where you will find around 200 free magazines available for you to use on an iPad, laptop or phone every month. There is no limit to the number of magazines you can 'check out', and once downloaded, they are available offline for as long as you want them.
There are many titles available, from motoring to gardening.
You will need a library card to get started. I found the easiest way to find out if your library is taking part is to google something like 'zinio libraries hertfordshire' - tailor this to your county. You will need to get a zinio login username and password once, using your library card number. Then you can download the app to your iPad, it's called Zinio for Libraries. Once you're in the app, you will login once and then you can choose which magazines you'd like. You can then 'check them out'- like you'd check out books in a library - then they are available for download on your device.
For me, it saves me a lot of money every month. Just one magazine I read via Zinio now was costing me £70 per year for a subscription previously!
I for one am grateful you posted this. Some people are obsessed about pulling people up because it was posted before.

So the general consensus is to post every deal what, 5 or 6 times? Is that enough, or do you want more?

what does it matter if it's been posted before, people will have missed it, some people just want to moan

Well worth advertising this again, it's a public service provided for us
(we pay for it via taxes as we do physical library books and DVD's you can borrow).
Our local county has also started Comics
So there is now eBooks, eAudiobooks, eComics and eMagazines as they call them.

its all about recycling on HUKD this weather.
Surprisingly some are within the rules, but the more common is a post of a good deal which was posted earlier that day or a few days earlier :disappointed:
not voted either way, as this has been posted multiple times and highlighted in other posts

Wakefield council does not have many magazines available but it's free so you cant go wrong. Magazines are the only reason I joined the library. I read top gear on line every month.

So many missed premier postings which, thankfully, get spotted on a second or third reposting. Just how many offers I've missed is impossible to gauge. But the odds of spotting one are improved by further exposure. So, Ta, NOP2.

Maybe just me, but is this what Libraries were intended for?
