You can on some TV's.
You can also do so via SkyQ as that has YouTube on it too.
Additionally if you have a amazon firestick you could potentially watch it via that as that also has the YouTube app.
If all those aren't possible, simply connect your laptop or computer via HDMI if that is possible.

you probably don't have an HD tuner in your TV (many full HD sets don't, especially those more than a few years old).
Can you get any other channels in HD?

I retuned last night and was happy that BT HD quality is way better than the BT on 59.
Im near Wembley, London and tuned without any issues, TV had option for a new scan or update scan and i did an update scan..

Some more info from 2018, only final and highlight free to air. also
Uefa has changed the kick-off times for matches from 2018 so around a third will start at 6pm, with the rest kicking off at 8pm. This means you can now watch two games in full every match night.
Also, the club which finished fourth in the Premier League will no longer have to play a qualifier, meaning there is no danger of there being only three English teams in the Champions League.

retuning doesnt work for all, if you didnt have BBC 4 HD before, you wont get the new showcase on 115, we have same issue :disappointed:

Was annoyed last night as have a You View box, which does offer HD stations on Freeview, retuned and ch115 not even found :-( Luckily borrowed a BT sport login and streamed it in the end to the TV.

I had this issue. And when you go to the BT sport 2 station it said you needed to sign up. In the end I just used the YouTube app on my TV

I think it just needs to be free on a terrestrial channel so HD would count.
Otherwise it'd need to be on analogue too just in case there is an old dear somewhere still watching fuzz wondering where their picture went...

was this available on freesat? I couldn't find the channel and I did retune just before the match. watched it on YouTube in the end but the frame rate left a lot to be desired. wanna be ready well in advance for the champions league final.
