Saints Row 2 brings true freedom to open-world gaming. Players can play as who they want, how they want, and with whomever they want in this sequel to the much acclaimed and tremendously successful Saints Row.
Set years after the original, the player finds himself in a Stilwater both familiar and strange and challenged with bringing the Saints back as the rightful kings of Stilwater and bringing vengeance to those who wronged him.

gb1999 - are you forgetting about the Steam sales they have every year with massive discounts? The Steam Summer Sale, Halloween Sale, Autumn Sale (aka Black Friday Sale) and Winter Sale (or Christmas Sale).

Not sure what your point is? Discounted is not the same as free, and gog do sales as well
Fair enough. The only one I remember is PayDay which was an absolute farce when they changed the date it was being given away on and most people missed out. L4D and Portal are great giveaways though

This is why GOG are the best imo. They've done so many of these freebies over the years and almost always it's top quality stuff. Over the years I've gotten Witcher 1 & 2, Fallout 1, 2 & Tactics, Beneath a Steel Sky, Dungeon Keeper, Giants, LBA all gratis. I'm trying to think what I've got from Steam and cannot think of a single thing of note. When you take into account the fact they will let you add certain Steam games to your GOG library free as well then you can see their attitude towards their customers is top class! Even if they are not as slick as Steam...

Steam have given away plenty of good games before - Left 4 Dead 2, Payday, Chivalry, Amnesia, Portal. The free stuff GOG has given away is great but Steam have given away plenty of games as well.
