Blocks adverts, doesn't need separate messenger app, and can make Most Recent my default news feed? I'm in! Cheers

seems to use a little more data than fb lite but obviously much less than standard Facebook app. Probably a nice compromise.

No it doesn't.

Just use the mobile page and then switch to desktop page to view messages. Why you need to install an app unless your addicted to Facebook and need notifications is something i just don't get :stuck_out_tongue:

If this works independently of the proper facebook app will have to give it a try as the FB app on my device always pops up unfortunately facebook has stopped have had to resort to browsing in Opera which is annoying if you click a link open a new tab then go back to FB the page auto refreshes

No voice/video calls from messenger's tab in this app?

I'm enjoying this app. I've found some bugs that I passed on and they've been resolved.
Just discovered one this morning as well... I've got sounds turned off for notifications but sound still plays.
Also, if you want to share a photo you need to take the photo first. You can't access your camera from the app.
If you use Facebook marketplace then this isn't yet included either.
Much smaller in size than the facebook app, nicer to look at and smoother to run.
For those slating Facebook ,some of us use it for the pages. For example, I'm a freelance photographer so it comes in handy for showcasing my work.

I'm using now using this but with the official Facebook Messenger Lite app for messages, because there's a noticeable delay in message delivery when using third party messenger apps.

Uninstalling the FB right now!
Does this use less resources compared to the native FB app?

I've tried Metal, Folio, Swipe, Facebook Lite and more I can't remember the names of right now. This is easily the best one in my opinion.

Just had a play. Initial impressions are great. Much better than folio, & obv miles better than the official app. Not least because it doesn't drain your battery!
