There seem to be a lot of HOT CROSS HUKDIERS coming out of Morrisons today.

We got two instore at Morissons in Morley, Leeds! That was after 6pm too! They were the last two left!

Morrison's in outland road plymouth are not giving out any hot cross buns. Hope you enjoy yours.

I went. Didn't get any buns. But they had masses of holes from the doughnuts for free but it turned out my pantry is already full of them.

Made special journey to Hartlepool store, none there either. Went at 2:30 pm, no sign of buns and no indication there ever were any!

Shouldn't this be expired? Hardly anyone seems to have found it working...

Just went into Morrisons but they gave them out but only for the morning

None at my Morrisons but my Waitrose was giving free samples (Chocolate orange and Apple Cinnamon) - sampled enough to get a good taste. Free Waitrose One Range Ice cream and cake sample as well - still doesn't make up for the loss of my free coffee :wink:

I went to 32 stores and got 64 packs for free, thanks to my big, floppy hat.

Actually, the one store I went to knew nothing about it but they were selling them two packs for a quid.
But they didn't look very nice so I stocked up on Fruit Corners instead :smiley:

We use Morrisons a lot, they are our closest SM, there was no sign of any in Tewkesbury, so if this is a con I will be going a little further in the future & it will cost Morrisons more than it will cost me.

I was in Morrisons this morning and not a whiff of a free hot cross bun there!

None offered on Paignton when we went at 10.30 unless they were hiding somewhere with them. But then again I'm not over keen on them anyway

In our modern age I think we've come to underestimate how efficient word of mouth can be in communities of people that aren't fixated on smart devices. Somewhere that's doing a free food giveaway is going to pass round very quickly, especially as there's at least one homeless person outside most supermarkets

Not surprised as many of the offers Morrisons advertise aren't available at Stratford for some reason.

Yah, I received mine today at 6:30 with special delivery. I think I am the first customer in UK to receive such free gift.

When I worked at Safeway (now Morrys) the hot X buns were made in store,rather than from factory.
You just stick a bag of hot X bun mix into the dough inside the large spiral dough mixer.

You'd be surprised at how much the homeless can get sitting out in the streets begging. My step-dad a retired taxi driver when he was taxi'ing sometimes treated a specific homeless guy hot drinks now and then and the homeless guy bragged that he got around £80 a day from begging. He ignored him after that. You have to wonder what he does with all of that?
I know this doesn't speak of all of them but some can really take advantage.
