I don't think it helps that there are 2 barcodes on & sometimes the cashiers scan the wrong ones. Having said that, I've never had one declined totally. Used mine in The Cooperative yesterday without a problem, though they were reduced so doesn't look like they'll be stocking them any more at that particular store....
I didn't see it in an Asda store I went to. May try a different Asda store or a different supermarket.

Voucher posted to you link is on the SECOND page, as above post.
obwan2014
25 Apr 17#51
Enter your details on the first page, don't forget space in postcode. Second page prompts you to download software, but just click the "Don't have a printer?" link just below. This is on the second page, so can't see it on first.

So I was concerned about entering my details as i wouldnt be surprised if they sell peoples details on. I minimised to just initials for first and second name and DOB 2018 and went through.

where is the link to have the voucher posted to you?
batvink
25 Apr 17#47
No, it's to spread malware. Google it, the printing app disguises itself as Windows components so you can't uninstall it, and sends data to a third party. If you've installed it, you're going to need a good AV program or a new identity

from their site: "Why do I need the Coupon Printer App? The Coupon Printer App will ensure that your coupons are printed clearly so that they can be scanned by the cashier" What a lot of baloney. It likely installs spyware onto your computer, so best to just get voucher sent by post

I wouldn't recommend downloading and executing the CouponPrinter.exe It is suspicious, why should you need to install an application to generate and print a voucher?

There is no virus, and if it printed without downloading anything it's because you already have the coupon printer downloaded. Antivirus companies are notorious for wanting you to never have any coupons as you're spending the money you might use to buy their product (_;)

Think you are right, they may have cleaned themselves up, literally. Indeed does beg the question of why Goodfellas would associate themselves with such an outfit and risk damaging the brand - however, I ran the app in a virtual box and no warnings came up for me on any of my overly paranoid defenses.

Thank you scooby555. I did not get a warning before downloading the printer programme, (Opera browser).
However, I never load personal details on unknown sites, so my voucher is in the name of Mickey Mouse, with a 'Mickey Mouse' birthday, but I am sure that my IP address has been logged. More fool me.
Hopefully have just removed the programme, and all attachments, following your link.
I did research the programme author, Quotient Technology Inc, previously Coupons.com, and currently trading on the NYSE @ $10.90 a share. I really do not think that neither Goodfellows, nor a US stock listed company, could afford to be involved in 'dodgy business', but I could be wrong.
