This game was much better than I thought it would be, kind of like the Racedriver GRID of winter sports - half simulation, half arcade.

So glad i never had to buy this game, first night had no problems, bit boring after an hour as its literally all the same. Tried to go on today, internet seems to be working fine but could not get on at all due to servers. That alone puts me off, i do not want to play a game that relies on outside sources cuz they can be shut down, be okay if you could choose to play offline and just mess about.

This was a fun game when played with a group of friends. The wing suit challenges were great - flying inches from the rock faces as we tried to get the best times. Exploration was surprisingly fun too, but really after a couple days it lost its appeal for us. Would be a good FTP game with microtransactions

i don't think so but if u buy the game later they unlock
"And if you decide to buy it later, all your Achievements and saved progress will be waiting for you when you decide to return to the slopes."
This doesn't really confirm if they unlock immediately. (My guess is that it will)
If it was to fall under the free play days promotion on XBOX then the achievements will unlock there and then. Just like the recent Battlefield 1 and Dragonball Xenoverse promotion.
