For the best in that it is as you say, "Mafia in name only". If however it were one of the actual Mafia organisations, naysayers would possibly be taken out.

How? Mafia 1 and Mafia 2 are fantastic games. 3 could've been a lot better, but instead it was a poor GTA clone. Shame.

The gameplay is incredibly repetitive, which ruins an interesting story, as you need to do 5 hours of the exact same thing to get the next cutscene

i used the play the old mafia and that was proper gangster game. this mafia is like a cheap remake of GTA. i sold it within a few days. maybe if i hadn't played the old ones i would have liked this more but ajyone who has played mafia 1 can't appreciate this.

Why? After googling it a little, I see there's a decent amount of positivity towards it. I wouldn't even go as far as saying it's a divisive title (like No Man's Sky.

I have about 100 purchased games to play never mind demos! Heat added.
Save progress will carry over, it's just a fraction over 26gb on the PS4. The full game is a lot bigger. So not sure what the demo is, certainly doesn't look like a time locked full game demo.
It is a good game especially story and character wise, just a shame there wasn't more varied missions :disappointed:
