Ubisoft has announced that starting tomorrow, February 28, a free trial for The Division will be available for anyone to download.
The trial will be available on PC and Xbox One at the date above, followed by PS4 on March 9. The Division trial includes access to the entire game’s content, with some restrictions.
First, you can only reach level 8. Alternatively, if you clock in six hours of playtime, the trial will be over. That said, all progress made will carry over to the full thing if you decide to purchase it.
There are no other restrictions on the areas of the game’s world you have access to, and you’ll also be able to play in co-op as well as solo. The trial does not have an end date, so you can pick it up whenever you want.

You'll likely love it, for all of the trial...
The things that stopped me playing this were:
The skill separation between me & my friends which stopped us playing together (has this been addressed?)
The grind... Once you've done all the missions, and done them again, and again for the daily rewards, there's only the Dark Zone (which is horrifically unfair unless you're with a tight group) or the desperately dull challenge mode.
I'm still going to encourage my friends to take part in the trial (heated) as it might breathe some life back into this long idle game (that I foolishly bought as digital).

Ps4 version got updated today, a whopping 14.somethingGB. Not sure what it'll add to the game just yet, being too busy playing Zombi, it's good fun.

Has the game changed significantly since the Beta? I thought it was visually impressive but the gameplay wasn't particularly interesting (the bullet sponge enemies didn't help).
