Live studio recording of Top Gear 2017 at
Dunsfold Park, Compass Gate, Dunsfold Road, Surrey, GU6 8HY
Wednesday 22nd February - doors open at 1:00pm
Saturday 25th February - doors open at 1:00pm
Live studio recording of Motown the Musical cast (special performance for Let it Shine) at
Elstree Studios, Maxwell Road entrance, Borehamwood,, Hertfordshire, WD6 1JJ
Friday 17th February - doors at 3.00pm
Motown the Musical (http://motownthemusical.co.uk) is currently showing at the West End, however this studio recording is just an hour so it should just be selected songs specially for Let it Shine, and not the full musical. I'm still waiting to hear back about the Top Gear tickets but I applied for the Motown tickets this afternoon and got the e-Ticket confirmation 3 hours later!

I wonder if this will actually result in being part of the audience or like the old Top Gear waiting list which was oversubscribed years in advance.

Thank you I live near Dunsfold and have applied. I've no experience of non guaranteed audience tickets and wondered if anyone has advice as to how long to arrive before start to actually get in?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from seeing last week's Jersey boys performance on 'let it shine', won't it be a 5-10 minute performance of Motown?

Just a word of warning I've 'applied' for tickets before via lost in tv, for who wants to be a millionaire at elstree studios and arriving 15 mins early there was already a few hundred people in a queue who said they'd been there for an hour, the studio was already full and it was over subscribed. Maybe a one off bad admin experience but I suspect they always over fill to guarantee a good audience.

Ive done audience shows many times and for the more popular shows, you need to be there at least an hour before recording.
Also I applied for Top Gear when Clarkson & co were presenting, and I am sure there was something like a 2-year waiting list as it was so popular.

Today you'd be the only one on the list.

About 12 years ago I had tickets for Top gear filming. Got to the studio in plenty of time only to be told It was full. I live over 200 miles from Dunsfold. I was not a happy man that day. I wont even try again for tickets.
