The training courses are free and some of the lower level ones you can get a Certificate Of Continuing Education to show you completed the course if you trade Points that you earn by studying, sharing content and other community activities. If you want the industry recognised qualifications that count on you CV then you have to book and pay for the exam with the examining body directly, however if the training is actually of high quality then it being free is truly worth a lot if you are serious about the qualification. I'm yet to view the course material but Comptia A+, Security+ and CISSP are usually a £500 + each to do the course. Heat from me.

Yes, however there are plenty free voucher codes available if you look hard enough... such as freesct1 or certthanks
