Is anyone reading this thread on statins? If so, have you ever eaten Grape fruit whilst on them? Information isn't clear on whether you can have a moderate amount of grapefruit whilst on statins.

I was told DO NOT EVER have grapefruit - The trouble is that I cannot remember if it was the Statins or the other pills and potions I am on.

The recommendation is that you don't mix grapefruit and statins. I don't know why and don't like grapefruit so don't know what would happen.

Getting advice for lowering cholesterol from a dairy company is like getting advice on avoiding lung cancer from a cigarette company. Nope.

Load of old tosh... I got my total cholesterol down to 3.7 by avoiding added fats, going easy on animal products and having porridge.

Flora is still fat. Will only buy to substitute butter and not on its own. Eating unnecessary fat is not good.

Had one of these. 1 sheet info heavy slanted towards flora products. Very few recipes. Coupons are for their very expensive pro active spread about 50p off if I remember.
