"Cursory check" = looking through my deal history for a random comment from a deal that's over a year old. You have some odd definitions (and too much spare time).
Just for your reference here's the HUKD definition of free (for freebies deals): "Freebies are things you can get for free! Whether it's a free download or a free pair of socks, you can post it here. Free items included with a purchase are considered deals, since a purchase is still required."
I mean if you want to make up a totally different definition that's up to you (although that's not how definitions work and likely you'll run into conversations like this a lot as a result) and it still doesn't change the fact that this particular deal post is free by the most relevant definition there is.

A pretty significant chunk of the freebies here require you to have some kind of account or at least require your email address so unless you're going to say none of those are free either your argument is a bit ridiculous.
Bottom line is Facebook accounts are free just like email addresses which means this game/ deal is free. As people have pointed out you can even make a fake account with a fake email so you don't even need to give up any personal info so, besides the very small amount of time making those accounts takes, this costs you nothing. Ergo it is free.
If you want to continue putting down a perfectly good deal post for literally no reason, "you welcome".
