Over the holidays, Ned (Bryan Cranston), an overprotective but loving dad and his family visit his daughter at Stanford, where he meets his biggest nightmare: her well-meaning but socially awkward Silicon Valley billionaire boyfriend, Laird (James Franco).
The straight-laced Ned thinks Laird, who has absolutely no filter, is a wildly inappropriate match for his daughter. The one-sided rivalry develops and Ned's panic levels escalate when he finds himself increasingly out of step in the glamorous high-tech hub, and learns that Laird is about to pop the question.

Still no Leicester. Still don't care, as it still looks utter sh*te-on-a-stick. But kudos and thanks to the OP.

Fair enough. No Newcastle or Gateshead either which is unusual considering how many showings there are.

It's not unusual for Leicester to be left out - although the last few weeks have been good (Fabulous Beasts, Allied, Moana, The Edge of 17 and the brilliant A Monster Calls - pick a dud film out of that lot!). But you have to support, attend, flag up and heat local screenings, to make sure more come our way.
