Yep just ask at the till & they'll give you a £1 shaped plastic fob with the proud words 'Lidl' embossed on it that is perfectly designed to fit in the slot on your shopping trolley.
No more hunting around for that elusive £1!
Plus if you lose it, it's far better than losing £1
Keep it in your car and you'll never have to empty out the apples and pinch a box from the fruit & veg display when you've got just too much for the basket.
[Sorry took liberties with the image  You wont actually get that]
Enjoy.

I'm a bit ditzy and have lost a few so it's handy to know - just ask at the till and they give some
I've also got the smiley face one on my key fob  (bought that one from ebay, though).

what are you going to do when they change the round pound over to the dodecahedron in a few months?

What you can do then, use it, and hand your trolley to someone who gives you £1, repeat a few hundred times

Better be quick, the latest they stay open is 9. But then of course you have a Lamborghini (?) so shouldn't be a problem.

Some months back when I asked if I could borrow a trolley token, the manager gave me a cornbeef key  Worked a treat.

Same in sainsburys except it has the word nectar inscribed on it and is made of plastic. Good for anyone who is thinking of starting a collection.

I didn't force the girl to do anything. That is not my style!

In my lidl the other week I heard someone ask for one, and they asked them to give it back after as they were running out. We've had one for ages, keep it in the car
