Free carving pumpkins in Keighley Sainsbury's today. I know Halloween has been and gone now but good for the kids to practice on etc. Worth looking in your store if you are there, obviously not saying to make a special trip but worth a look :-)

These aren't culinary pumpkins, they're very stringy, bland, and watery. You'd be wasting time and money trying to cook with them.

Not sure why this is expired? They scan up at 10p in my store but the sign says free, so I assume just take and don't scan? (maybe they haven't updated the price..?)

Carve the flesh out onto some baking trays drizzle with a little olive oil salt and pepper and you've got a great base for a hearty soup.
