Forgive my apparent stupidity but how do you download the actual audio files to your PC? I have a Win7 laptop so cannot install the audible app which is for Win8 and above.
Thanks to anyone who can enlighten me.

No - just search for the books and it will let you "buy" them for free.

No Iliad?
Bah! What a load of cobbles these semi-famous people read. Can Audible not do a list created by fully-famous people, or people perhaps of no fame at all? A better list may be proposed by the truly-infamous.
A. Hitler reads "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion"
M. Thatcher reads "No Milk Today: The Vanishing World of the Milkman"
J. Savile reads "The Paedo Piper of Hamlin"
A. Blair reads "Picnic in Iraq"
W.S. Churchill reads Slaughterhouse-Five
