We’re excited to let you know that, starting today, anyone who hasn’t yet had the opportunity to play ReCore can now experience their first 30 minutes of the game in a free trial version on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. Players will meet Joule, her Corebot companion Mack, and begin their adventure in the beautiful and mysterious world of Far Eden. If you decide to buy the full game afterwards, you can pick up right where you left off, as your progress (and Achievements) in the trial will be reflected in the full game
Got agree and I bet there is 10 minutes of cutscenes so a 20 minute demo really.

EA access offer a lot more. It is probably because the game is not selling well.

If that really is the case, then it's a great shame. I've spent the past two or three days playing ReCore and I think its an amazing game. The art style is very much Borderlands with the puzzle type parts of a Lara Croft title chucked in. The story makes perfect sense and is really decent and the combat is great.
Admittedly the performance (on Xbox One) is questionable, but it doesn't totally hinder the game. I've got to admit that the load screens are the longest I've seen in any game but meh, I just have a quick browse on HUKD
Anyhoo, a patch was released yesterday (5GB) to correct most of the issues. If you haven't already, just give it a try. Cheers for the post  Heated.

Where do you get that calculation from?!?! Think of it this way, it could end up saving you money, I think dev's who offer free play are pretty brave tbh.

he means EA / Origin access give more free play time
Was planing on buying it soon so I was pleased for the trial as from my 30minutes of play I've made up my mind it's not for me and it's saved me wasting £30.

Just played my 30min on PC, not a bad game but it only supports resolution up to 2K, and so it looks bad on my 4K screen. Worth £15 not £30.

Better than nothing, plus EA access only gives 10 hours of multiplayer games, Mirror's Edge Catalyst only got 6. Not to mention this is 100% free whereas you pay extra for EA Access
