I think they make it bad deliberately to encourage people who subscribe to upgrade to the HD channels - scandalous that HD isn't standard these days, especially now they have Ultra HD which could be the premium service.

It's parked so often these days it's technically a caravan now. A billion pound caravan.

Agreed although to be fair and balanced..
Even when United were at their best and Liverpool at their worst, the Anfield game was always a leveller and even under Fergie and their free flowing days, they would play similar and park up and try and silence the crowd and limit the chances.
Which has actually led to some classics... and some not so classics... this week was not so classic, although I think probably did both teams a favour in as much as self progress... both can take stuff from the game.
I suspect neither manager deep down is happy but I also suspect deep down both are relieved not to lose.
Strange fixture really.

Yeah, in the past they would have grabbed a last minute winner. I've seen that so many times. Rather sad to see them so negative this time, given the talent they have and the money they have spent.

Maybe, I dunno, I think Liverpool massively in form and with all the hype, United couldn't afford to lose. Much is made of the money spent at United but their last two manager dismantled the squad and didn't think before doing it, I am quite impressed with Jose actually looking internal... 4 signings isn't bonkers (especially for him).. Apart from a few blinkered United fans and those that just hate them flat out, I don't think anyone could see him waving a magic wand and them running away with the league, I look overall at the league and look at Pep at City and think well although they have shown flashes they aren't looking unbeatable far from it, the foxes have dropped off completely, Arsenal are Arsenal, Spurs havent shown massive progress, Liverpool whilst progressing nicely under a BRILLIANT manager still don't quite have the squad to run away with it, Chelsea are bubbling under but no team is looking like their best and that's got to be good for the league... I cant pick a top 4 right now. That feels good. I suspect come new year we will know more I think the United will probably be in the fight. 6 going for four again I think. which is much better than when it was same 4 year in year.

The standard of English football, at national & PL level is on the wain. Monday nights game was awful & if City were a half decent side they would have turned over Barca last night yet they got hammered.

Sitting sixth in the Premier League after seven games, Manchester United may have yet to find their groove under Jose Mourinho, but a report by CIES Football Observatory has shown they are top of the table when it comes to money spent on transfers.
The Red Devils current squad was assembled for an eye-watering €718m - roughly £626m - making it the most expensive in history of Europe's top-5 leagues.
Despite Zlatan Ibrahimovic joining on a free, the high-profile arrivals of world-record signing Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly represent an extra £161m compared to last season, putting United well clear of second-placed Real Madrid, whose current squad cost £553m.
