Its been a few months since this deal was last posted and most people don't even know about it or think it's expired but I just received yet another free data rewards sim card of Three with the FREE 200mb of data each month and not requiring a top up..
These are ideal if you are travelling to one of there feel at home countries or are a low data user.
I now have 5 of these and therefore get 1GB of data each month totally free.
I don't know why the Hot UK Deals link is not working but here is the direct one but he address text needs copying and pasting into your browser address bar
No There is not! I'm using one now and I have never ever topped it up.
Once you register the sim on the web address they include with the sim card the 200mb are added automatically each month.
Every now and again they send me an email saying they have noticed I have not used the sim cards yet even though I have been using them each month.

You can use either sim for watsapp because both have a number attached to them and can receive the activation text message from watsapp.

How does that work for the likes of what'sapp where it uses your mobile number. Will it use the number for data or the one for calls

Great, thanks very much. Sounds like it's just what I'm after. Planning on getting a new phone with dual-SIM capability, so I might go for the same set-up (TM PAYG + Three data SIM 8-).

The Talkmobile 10p an hour sim has a £5 minimum top up (online) not sure about the minimum if you buy voucher in shops and it does not expire I've saved quite a lot since leaving Three's 3-2-1 tariff because my calls are mostly long ones.
I have a dual sim phone and use these free data Sims off this deal in slot one and a Talkmobile sim for calls and the occasional text in the other slot.

Thanks for that - really interesting tariff. What is the situation re top-ups? What is the minimum top-up and does it expire after, say, a month or is it perpetual like Three's 3-2-1 PAYG tariff?

Here is the link to the talkmobile 10p per hour sim https://talkmobile.co.uk/order-payg-sim/
I was going to post it as a deal but for some strange reason last time it was posted it went cold, I don't know why because I find them much better than when I was with 3 on the 3-2-1 deal where an hour's chat would cost me £1.80 plus when I contacted them about porting my number to them I got through to a UK call centre within a minute unlike 3's India call centre.

I did transcribed before (above) the text from this at registration time ( so the critical bit is "used" in a "chargeable" event, I would assume that the free allowance of 200 MB is not a chargeable activity to be on the safe side):-
And in the Three's "PAYG_Terms_110716.pdf"
9.1 (h) you have not activated a Pay As You Go Voucher on your
account or undertaken any chargeable events or activities (for
example, made telephone calls, sent text or photo messages,
accessed content or the internet or any other Three Services
for which a charge is made) using any credit or allowance on
your account within the preceding 6 month period. If you do not
have an Active Pay As You Go Voucher on your account, your

for the periods set out in the Price Guide and other customer
documentation; and/or

I did see that after I asked the question and why I gave you a like. I was unsure whether it was a top up every 6 months or as you said, send a 2p text which suits. Thought I'd leave the question up anyway as I'm sure others will have have the same question.

Mutter mibberish, as above, I just re-registered, as before, no top up required, and there is even a selection at registeration whether to top up or not to top up with the new web page design (last used in August during registeration). I clicked on "continue with no top up". But SIM needs to be used at least once every 6 months, so I assumed this to mean, at least one text for 2p then, unless you gone over the 200MB and spending the 1p/MB rate.

Been using one of these in a kids phone for 6 months now, to give internet an app access without risking a big (or any) bill.
Also took another away on holiday a few times and it worked fine. Enough data for general emailing, internet and WhatsApp especially if you have reasonable WiFi access in a hotel or appartment too.
Then I also use a regular 3-2-1 PAYG SIM card with a £10 topup / addon for calls, text and the 1GB data. You can also use the 50p internet daily addon for short trips - gives you 120MB for 2 days.

Can you connect to ANY of the '3' website pages with your mobile data sim? for instance http://www.three.co.uk
Even a sim with no credit will allow browsing of the '3' networks web pages.
If you can't you may have the wrong APN settings or the data turned off in your device settings.
If you can access other 3 webpages but just not the registration page you will need to clear your website Cookies/Cache and it will work. I needed to clear the cookies for each new sim I received before it would let me register another sim card because they only want you to have one.

I bet you never bothered to register the sims when you got them like it tells you in the welcome pack.
If you still have the sims put them in your device Mifi / Tablet or mobile phone and open a web browser and in the address bar type in http://www.three.co.uk/freedata once registered you will get your free data every month.
This will only work if you are actually using one of the free data sims in this offer and not an ordinary 3 2 1 or normal data sim.

This is what I did just now, after advised by Three agent, after I gave my SIM last 6 digit code printed on it, re-register these sims with http://www.three.co.uk/freedata (not sure if you needed to tell them your 6 digit sim on your Three SIM to do something with before you register though). SIM now works and account shows 200MB allowance as free add on.

I was given a Blu Windows phone a couple of months back because the person who purchased it was told it would be upgradable from Windows 8.1 (installed) to Windows 10. Microsoft subsequently dropped the phone from its list of phones that had sufficient memory to support Windows 10. At which point my mate purchased a dearer Nokia Windows phone. Around two weeks ago I powered up the phone and was told an update was available, so I followed the instructions to download and install. To my amazement (and the consternation of my friend) the phone finally booted into Windows 10 and has run perfectly since. I didn't have a SIM for this phone so this free offer will complete my free phone. I insisted giving a tenner to my friend for the phone but he refused taking it. Only drawback is I dislike all flavours of Windows.

Looking at the t & c's, "and if you're on Pay As You Go you'll need to convert your Pay As You Go credit into an Add-on to get a unit allowance to fully enjoy Feel At Home". So, need an initial top-up on payg if going roaming, and that will last 30 days. Will 200mb be added as an Add-on when roaming more than 30 days?
