Kodi 17 now available on windows store. just tried it and works perfect on all my devices but remember that not all build can be installed on this version yet. and is quite a bit different to V16
good for anybody that wants latest version and would prefer it to auto update rather than having to check and download yourself.

Obviously the device wasn't that dedicated.

they can't stop it, as you say anyone can install any build or add-on onto kodi. it's the idiots why buy them for over inflated prices who need to stop buying them & install them themselves. there's plenty of you tube videos to help you set it up for free

why do you think this will have any affect. Takes 5 minutes to put kodi on a fire stick and ever less to add the various addons. wont make any difference.

Do you realise who develops Kodi and why it is so versatile
There is a problem with piracy which needs some safeguards but not draconian measures, it's opensoure freeware at the end of the day. Only real solution is more donations especially by those that want those features!!!! Most of those who do pre-installed builds do contribute, you can too
Biggest change is the skin (like material design on android), but essentially its an evolution with better coding and smoother features

I'm new to Kodi and recently I've been trying to watch a stream but after several seconds it stops. Is this a problem of the program or what? I can reload it just perfectly.
I don't mind it too much, I don't watch Kodi very often anyway.

It's possibly just a bad host, try another host or find the video on another addon.

I've had some fairly troublesome attempts to install Exodus. I got Phoenix working, but Exodus is just beyond my capabilities with the store version (or maybe it's just this version compared to 16).
One good thing though - I had to uninstall Kodi as my Xbox 360 pad was causing the app to freak out and crash. The store version has fixed that issue where the direct download from the Kodi website still had the issue.

I'll be sure to try that. I've gotten into more groups of IPTV so hopefully those ones will work better.
My internet works fine and I can watch NowTV in HD without any lag or quality drops. Too bad NowTV doesn't have subtitles because they sure come in handy at night.

I bought Kodi on a dedicated device £35 - worked well for a couple of days then went tits up so I got a refund.
I've seen adverts for kodi pre installed fire sticks with sky but is that true or do you have to pay for the sky on top.

was using the ares build for about 2 months now and after update today the settings are all.over the place. turns out this update I done was for new version of kodi. uninsulated and went with paradox. I have a tablet want to sell looked on eBay to get estimates for price. my model of tablet 55 quid. with kodi installed 90 quid. The increase these people are charging for installing kodi is ridiculous.

Question - can I install this on a desktop?
