Payment app Circle are giving away a fiver if you download their app using the code TSR5.
You don't have to do anything annoying, just enter the code when you download the app and they gift it to your account.
Haven't used them much myself, just seems to be a way of sending bunse. Seem to be a legit company when looking at their Wiki page.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You have to go to the promotion section in the menu to add the code

nice one. worked for me, although have to verify my debit card before cashing out though so will have to wait for some actual money in the bank but a free fiver is a free fiver so heated

Yeah it's actually hard to believe that they're giving away £5 to everyone...
Haven't read anything about a limit to the number they'll give out but probs best to grab it fast as I can't imagine it'll be around for long

£7,500 all told then for 1,500 fivers. I suppose it's cheap advertising

Got the £5 tried to cash out but can't link card due to needing 3d verification even though I have got it set up as just spoke to my bank.
Also when I've tried to link apparently it's tried to take £5 out!

that's worrying - i need to verify my card with them but i'm not having them take a bloody fiver for the verification fee

mine said it needed to 3d verify (Barclays) it then said verified and money would take 1 to 4 days. didn't take anything from my account.

So they've HELD or TAKEN £5 from the card I added to CREDIT £5 - why would they do that?!

probably for verification, most places would only take a few pence to verify the card tho.

thanks op. Also, you can multiply this amount by number of phones and emails in ur house. I did it on my wife's mobile as well, so 10£'s in total.

So they give you free "£5" whilst also taking out "£5" from your bank account. Plus you divulge your bank details and access to chinese companies based on FINTECH mmmm is that the same as the bitcoin currency and companies that are having to pay others from savings. My worry is that such companies may decide to recoup losses from your own bank, look at the terms and conditions

plus the other person needs the circle app/registered, you can't use NFC.... unless you can pay contactless at shops (not emails and phone numbers which you can do anyway already) this app is useless, can someone correct me?
where's the usp

i think mine is 3d verified as well.
I don't mind so much a company taking a card verification fee that will eventually go back on to your card but a fiver is by far the most expensive fee i've ever seen. I thought Apple's £1.58 was bad enough ..

Got the £5 in my account, but it refuses to verify my visa card.
The first three attempts (which I did via their website), it said either the card number, expiry date or security code were wrong. They weren't wrong.
It told me I only had one attempt left. I then tried it on the app, and it accepted the card details and said it was going to verify the card. It quickly flashed up the verified by visa page, but then without giving me the chance to enter my password it said it couldn't verify. I tried again, and the same thing happened.
Are they using this offer so we can help them beta test their systems?
After the problems I and others have reported I don't think I'd trust them with any of my money.

That's exactly what happened to me.
Now have to wait till Monday to find out why as they have "limited support" on the weekend.

Far too much "what if" in here for me to risk bank details for a fiver.
