With activities and entertainment on the ground and all the excitement in the air, there'll be something for everyone - the ultimate free family day out! The air display is held over the coastline at Seaburn and Roker in Sunderland.
With high-speed jets, breathtaking display teams and precision flying in the air and a massive choice of activities on the ground, there's something for all the family at this action-packed weekend. The Royal Navy also traditionally have a warship off the coast every year.
The Friday night launch is rounded off with a large firework display.

Always packed. Nice day. Hope the weathers OK - it was horrible and deep cloud a couple of years ago disappointing thousands
