"Mr. Robot" follows a young programmer named Elliot who suffers from a debilitating anti-social disorder and decides he can only connect to people by hacking them. Like a superhero, he wields his hacking powers as a weapon to protect the people he cares about from those who are trying to hurt them. Ultimately, Elliot finds himself at the intersection between a cybersecurity firm he works for, his alterego hacking exploits at night and an underworld hacking collective trying to recruit him to help bring down the one percent.

The series name describes perfectly what the show is about.
This. It's always cool to see what other video container/format they use for the titles.

Haha yeah I saw that, I think they're just trying to be clever with the episode names, can't imagine google offering the episodes in anything but their own choice of (proprietary) format.

Mkv, MP4 and mov are "container" formats. They usually contain 2 or more streams. One for audio and one for video. Obviously this is flexible as you can have multiple languages audio streams in it and something like vlc will allow the user to choose which dubbed language they want to hear. I usually find people who offer Mkv, MP4 and mov usually pack in high quality videos compared to avi and divx

The pilot episode of Mr. Robot is awesome so it's well worth watching for that alone.

Elliot's more of a robot/drone than an actual human being, he talks to people who don't actually exist, makes up people as if they were there and were working with him and also gets all nervous. Elliot is Mr. Robot.

No his Dad was Mr Robot

Elliot's dad is dead so now Elliot talks to himself considering what he should do and shouldn't. Yes, Mr. Robot was Elly's father but it doesn't change the fact he's always talking to his other side, plus, he refers as 'we' not 'I'.
I can't tell what you were trying to say. Please proof read next time.

The whole lot is free with amazon prime isn't it?
Personally I thought the series was very meh, watched it quite recently and don't even remember enough about it to say why it is meh which is telling in itself.

It is, though Amazon Video is useless; no support for chromecast, and no HD video on PC without HDCP-compliant video card, cable, and monitor.
It is quicker, less complicated, and of superior quality, to simply download it via torrent.
HDCP doesn't protect anything, it simply inconveniences legitimate users.

I really thought it started well but drifted into a massively predictable climax.

Name of the serial is not just name of father's shop. It's description of main hero, just watch serial and understand.

Gonna give this a go, I've heard good things about it and £6.99 for season 1 sounds reasonable if I like it. I'm sure I keep seeing Amazon advertising this as exclusive to them, yet both seasons seem to be available on Google Play.

Watch the whole 1st series and all the new ones every thursday on amazon prime which is free for 30 days. Good show but a bit of a lazy ending amazon do that a lot. They make a really good plot spend time developing the characters then spend about 10 seconds making up an ending, pretty sure the writers of anything on amazon did the Bobby Ewing back from the dead in the shower Dallas nonsense

The show isn't made or funded by Amazon. They simple purchased the distrubution rights for it in the UK since none of the TV channels picked it up.

Pretty sure its just part of the episode title, a joke of sorts. They're all different and they even have flv and qt.

The first episode of season 1 was pretty good, but I found as the season progressed, it simply got confusing as to what was real and what wasn't. Season 2's first couple of episodes haven't really got the show back on course, but since I'm in the IT industry, I'll keep on watching :-)

Well I thought it was relevant as your posted seemed to suggest you were under the impression that this show was created by Amazon, as you were discussing it having a typical Amazon ending and also mentioned their writers.
I was merely trying to point out that this isn’t the case, that they didn't develop or write it, they just own the UK rights. Nothing wrong with a bit of education.
