With the summer hols fast approaching (& some kids have already broken up), I've been looking around for extra things to do on our upcoming trip to London with my youngest 2 kids, either free or cheap cos after paying an extortionate amount for tourist attractions, I'm skint.
Found quite a few, so thought I'd share some on here, inc the fab Natural History Museum which is the main link. Will pop some clickable links to others in the first few posts. Please feel free to add any you know of, it would be really appreciated!

London transport museum is very good, but can be very busy which spoils some of the exhibitions.

I've been several times but I go to London at weekends as well as in half terms so for me, this is good value for money. In the holidays they usually have free children's workshops. Weve been to animation workshops crafts etc. My 8yr old enjoys it there and there are loads of nice places to eat and street entertainment in the area.
Very useful for a forthcoming trip to London. Heated.

Thanks, OP! I will be in London for the next few months. I'll try and do the free things on your list that interest me. Maybe some will even make good date ideas, as I plan to pick up various London ladies during my time in the famous city.

however it's £17 for adults (£14.50 concessions), but you can save more if you can get enough people together for a group ticket.
I've not been, yet, so I can't comment on whether it's good or bad.
