Join thousands of spectators as the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) steps out of the concert hall and onto Trafalgar Square for the fifth annual BMW LSO Open Air Classics concert.
Conducted by Valery Gergiev and presented by Paul Rissmann, the LSO this year perform a programme of Tchaikovsky’s music, including 1812 Overture, Symphony No 4 and a suite from Swan Lake. Joining them for selected performances are 42 East London youths from the LSO’s On Track young musicians programme, as well as 23 musicians from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
