Yeah, I read that too. But if BT are paying the big bucks, can't really see Uefa doing anything.

See how long this lasts. UEFA are not too happy that the viewing figures in the UK are falling off a cliff since BT got exclusive rights to the CL.

As has been said, the YouTube broadcast for the Europa League Final was something like 854x480 - definitely SD (not mentioned in any of BT Sport's massive advertising for it). The YouTube app on my Humax Freesat PVR had a crappy live buffer of 5 secs or less, so predictably froze for several secs just about the time of Sturridge's goal! I'm expecting similiarly craptastic SD coverage for this weekend's Champion's League Final.

Cheeky fu*kers only showed it in SD quality though, not HD!

The Europa cup final was free on Sky - BT Europe ch414. Hope it's the same for this game.
