BBC Radio Nottingham's "Big Day Out" is on Sunday 17th April 2016 offering free entry to Nottinghamshire museums and heritage attractions. The places taking part want you to come and see what they have to offer. Each year, thousands of people take advantage of this celebration of the county's rich history. All the venues involved are offering free admission in some form.
In some cases you will need a print out, which acts as a voucher, or to book in advance. If you don't have a printer, copies of this list are available from BBC Radio Nottingham's reception (open during office hours).

the castle entry is free when living in notts anyway but the galleries are worth a punt, wish I'd gone when I was there.
Wish the caves were free they are the best thing in Notts.Anyways could be good to combine with the free Canal Day thing.
