I don't really get making a movie about someone whose fame lasted about a week, and only then because of British tabloid newspapers. Its hardly "Cool Runnings". I would draw a comparison between it and the Paul Potts story. And that film was completely missable even before I found out James "All The England Players Are My Best Mates" Corden was playing the title role.

If it's the film version of Eddies life that you don't agree with then
i) IMDB users have given it 7.6/10 ratings making it a good film for me to watch.
ii) Eddie himself has given it a good rating.

If it's Eddie's quirky nature that you never loved than I can't help you there buddy..

Besides it's free and you have a chance to put your thoughts in the SFF survey they will send you..... I have always given my thoughts for the film I didn't like but only after watching it, well can't judge a book from it's cover.....
