If you are hacked and the hacker spends hundreds of pounds on your card Sony are happy to refuse you a refund, and should you process a charge back with your CC company they will ban your PSN profile.

Yet when they make an error that costs them money they are happy to retract the purchase with no explanation.

Restarted my PS4 and the locked theme, is now unlocked. So it appears that they haven't locked off the downloads. That's nice.

For anybody concerned regarding the static theme. This lad's mum bought him the Season Pass from CDKeys 4 days ago and the static theme was included. So it's seems like a genuine freebie rather than a mislabelled product.

So has any successfully downloaded and played the season pass? it says its only 7.8mb and it is saying static theme in my download queue.

This is amazing. I literally just turned on PS4, saw Fallout 4 and thought "Oh, better check to see if there's any deals on the Season Pass" and now it's installed on my console. Thank you so much for this!

It'd be nice if they do honour this, but I'd be okay to pay a reduced price. I'm happy to support the developers with my money for their hard work, I just never got round to buying the Pass before it's price increase.

Saying that, my item in the download list says its the 'Fallout 4 Static Theme' but when I click on it it goes to the season pass.

It displayed as 39.99 for me on PS4 STORE on the console but when I purchased through the link here on my phone it was free

It will be revoked, not much point in adding it. It's already being broadcast by major gaming sites so Sony will just cancel all orders.

I managed to get it installed. I purchased through the site, then visited Fallout 4's page on the console Store.

The pass was then marked as "Purchased" and I was able to download/install from there. We'll see if it works next week, but as of now, it looks like it has.

Got it JUST before it got taken down. I bought it for free then tried to link it to a mate and it's gone!

Has to be done via the PSN store website not via the PS4 store. As when I checked PS4 was £39.99 but I logged in on the PSN store website and it was free so purchased through there now its showing as purchased on my PS4.

I went to use the Fallout 4 static theme that came with the download, and even though I installed it fine, it's got padlock on it now and asks me to purchase it if I wish to use the theme.

I managed to buy it 5 minutes ago through my phone. Let's see if it works.. :smile:

Just got the Platinum on the game so was looking forward to the DLC...this is perfect.

Downloaded it but when I select the free theme it says I need to purchase the content? I don't have Fallout 4 so don't know if it's because of that? I'm able to redownload it again as it's still purchased on my PS4, can anyone with Fallout 4 check that the theme work's? And people without Fallout 4 do you get the same message as me when trying to use the theme?

Minecraft was £12.99 not £34.99. Yeah you're probably right they will honour it but I don't think anyone here should be proud of getting it for free knowing they are doing the developer out of money.

I paid £100 for a piece of cheap plastic that's already falling apart. They could have at least included the season pass in that bundle. Not to mention the game, though enjoyable, was a game breaking glitchy mess. I think I'm just about even now.

The whole thing is very hit and miss it seems. Will wait to see if the DLC actually worked or not when its out.

I don't think the developer will suffer. It will be Sony. They are responsible for the content on the store and they'll have to foot the cost.

Had a few things like this in the past with glitches on the PS Store and they've never revoked anything. They just move quickly to close it down and suck it up.

there's a separate item for the usual season pass, I reckon it should just say ?theme' on it. the one I bought before still says purchased

I remember pre-ordering Battlefield Hardline from the Czech PSN for like £4 and that got cancelled. it was a pre-order from a 'different' store so this glitch maybe treated differently... fingers crossed!

The official Sony line when someone purchases something by mistake is...'no refunds on digital content, can't do it sorry'....so it would be pretty hypocritical of them to cancel.
