When a chemical has a water-loving end and a water-hating end, it will spontaneously form circular micelles when it is above a certain concentration to hide the water-hating end away from the bulk water. Any soap will form micelles.

Thanks OP I have voted hot, as the equivalent 50ml would cost between £1.50 and £2.00. and you can get 2 packs of wipes for a £1 in the pound shop. Me and my sis will be happy to try a new product for 50p each :smiley:

Just tried the Boots in Woking and staff knew nothing about it, so went off to find the manager. Turns oit the rep never showed up, so no pfomotion there then!

I got mine today. I had to ask as no obvious promotion. SA had to go out back to get me one. she did not ask for wipes either :smile:

If you don't already have some at home, there's lots of cheap and cheerful options available if you want to give this micellar water a try. For example, Primark usually do two packs of face wipes for £1. So not bad to try something for 50p! Wilkos, Savers, Home Bargains, any pound shop all should have cheap options.

Yes you can, any packet of wipes, even half used is fine! I think the whole point is that wipes are okay for a quick fix now and again but used everyday, they're not great for your skin. They're like the fast food of skincare/makeup removal. Nothing compared to a good skin cleanse.:smiley:

I didn't realise they were so bad for your skin! I just changed because you're meant to change up your skincare routine because your skin changes and gets used to products and they become ineffective. I cleanse, tone and scrub a couple of times a week but need something quick and easy so changed to Micellar water. Would recommend actually!

Really bad for your skin, all the chemicals etc.. (so I was taught anyway!)
Better if you cleanse, tone and moisturise :smiley:
