Saw this yesterday at the Unlimited screening. Very disappointed- more pride & prejudice, than Zombie. Then on returning home, I checked the USA rating, and all became clear- this is a PG13 in the states, and explains the absence of any blood/gore. Pretty much everything happens off screen, which is a shame, as the sound mix is really amped up.

I've gone to 5 of these screenings (across different cinema operators and branches), I wasn't asked for an ID once. Just the print-out of the booking.

I've never been asked but I guess there is always a chance. These previews always sell out but I'm yet to go to a screening that's more than 50% full. I think if it was packed out then maybe ID would be asked for to make there's been no selling.

Read only one of the statements below.
You have had so many replies to this most saying they do not ask, and it is true well 99.9999999%. In all the screenings I have attended loads of films, theatres in and around London I only got asked once in Lakeside Vue years ago.I have back there few more times but never got asked again. So I think it depends who is collecting the tickets doing his/her jobs worth. The other 99.9999999% couldn't be bothered and they just want to collect the tickets and sit down again.
Or
No they don't.

never had to show mine, may be because never seen a house full for these screenings and its a freebie so staff aren't much bothered.

I think YMMV. I book for my boyfriend's mum all the time because she lives in a different city and doesn't like email/checking computers to find out about the screenings. She's NEVER been asked for ID before and there's little chance she passes for my name (my last name is Chinese Malay and she is most definitely not).

I've been to 4 showings and never been asked. I've also booked for my mum before and no problem. I wouldn't worry about it.
Just tried it - for invited guests only :disappointed:

How full it is depends on the film and the cinema. I've been to a few full ones (one was even overbooked and I couldn't get in), but still never been asked for ID.
They regularly ask for ID when I have been to SFF theatre events, though.
