Nope, it was originally released on Windows 8 and still supports Windows 8.1

Upgrade for free then, it isn't difficult if you're eligible. I upgraded to Windows 10 months ago and have had no problems whatsoever. The faster boot up times alone were worth it.

Have you considered that some people might not actually want to lose Windows? Realistically speaking, Windows 7 was the final version of Windows. Anything after that was an attempt at some sort of horrible, trashy tablet software that was meant to be 'unifying'. In reality it's god-awful. I've put Windows 10 on my laptop but have no intention of downgrading from Windows 7 on my PC, thanks all the same.

As Elevation already put it, it'd take more than the simple lure of it being free for me to be remotely interested in installing that tripe before it becomes a necessity (which should be a few years after you beta testers help them with the numerous bugs) - same as it was before resorting to any other version of Windows I've ever ended up having to move to since DOS was forced out.

every time I go on the Xbox App it asks me to log in to it with my microsoft/outlook account. if I do log in then in makes me sign in to my windows 10 pc user with my Microsoft account password and user and that is very annoying! Can anyone tell me how to stop this from happening?
Hi. If you don't like using your Microsoft account password then you can still set up a local PIN to use instead so that you've got a simple logon at your machine but can keep a complex password on the Microsoft account.

Still can't get it, when I click on Get Game nothing happens even when signed in, although I am using Chrome from Unbuntu, so will try from W7 when I get a chance
That deal is more than one month old so it can be posted again.
Also, some people (including me) never spotted the first one so we only knew about it because of this post.

Nice. Did not know it was free but seeing "PC and Xbox One" then I assume Xbox 360 isn't eligible?

Meh, just another couple of frightened technerds scared of change. I couldn't care less what OS you use - nobody does - I didn't ask for your defensive lectures, so keep them to yourself. Say hi to Windows XP for me.

To be fair, Microsoft has built in user feed back tools into Windows 10, via the Windows Feedback app. You can use it to report bugs, issues, features you'd like to see, and upvote other's as well as give your own opinion on anything on there.
If you're so worried about how windows is developing, you can't now blame anyone but yourself for not trying to change the way it's heading. For now, at least, the community is in control of where Windows 10 is going. So it'd be in your best interest to upgrade sooner then later, and voice your concerns about any issues you have, even if you decide to downgrade back to previous Windows for a little while after.
Remember, Windows 10 is the last version of windows. Going forward, it'll be updated regularly as a service for you. You're not going to see Service packs anymore, so don't wait up all night for that. At best you're going to see a larger overhaul of GUI features, like the October/November update that changed things like a few popup menus on the task bar to the dark menus (a user voted feature request), but mostly you'll have updates included via windows updates to fix issues the community has voted for every Tuesday.
