This Easter, Tesco are running their FREE cooking courses again for children aged 5 - 11. These are always really popular and would be a great activity for the kids over Easter, so make sure you book early.
The classes run for 2 age groups: 5-7 and 8-11.
Click through the link and scroll down to "Find available courses". Input your postcode and you will find details of the courses in your area.
Dates vary in March / April, depending on location.

Good find.
However despite being close to one of the biggest Tesco's in Scotland there are no courses available in Glasgow. :-(

My older son and daughter were 10 and 12yo when they did the 'Farm to fork' classes last year and they both really enjoyed it. Was excited to book again but it seems that we don't have any local stores participating (none in London?) this time round :disappointed:

My kids did this last year - excellent. Made a variety of interesting things - given free apron and cook book. Taught how to chop with knives safely. Wish they ran them again locally

Heat op, always nice to have a few things for the kids to do in the holidays. Has anyone been to this/sent their child to the classes on previous sessions? Would be interesting to hear what kind of things they do/make. Im not expecting a 3 course meal or anything but can't find any comments on the previous years classes. I usually bake with my kids but we haven't really made meals together as much.

I took my daughter last year, she made bread one day, pasta pot the next and curry and rice on the last day, really good fun and they were able to take home their apron and a few goodies
