To celebrate the first anniversary if the Final Fantasy Portal app, Square Enix are giving users the opportunity to download Final Fantasy II for free
The download must be done from inside the app, and the game must be launched from inside the app when you want to play it. So a bit if a faff, but preferable to paying £11 otherwise

Because I don't know where google apps are kept and, more importantly, I wasn't the OP.

The controls are horrible for this FF2 port. It has one of them 'Appears where you touch' D-pads which spans the size of about half the screen. And the charcter run speed is pretty quick plus those roaming NPC's are a Nightmare to catch up to and interact with. Just a warning for anyone thinking of downloading. Also random errors can occur mid game so save all the time, also requires internet access.

On the info page on the iOS version it says "If the app is deleted after the free download period on an Android device, users must pay to download the app again".
So looks like it is just Android affected

Since you complained about people not providing various links for multiplatform apps, why did you only include iTunes links to All the Bravest and Record Keeper?

When you open the main app after downloading from the Play Store, go to the FFII page it'll say it under the image of the game.
Perhaps it's only for Android and not iOS, lucky you.

It doesn't appear to say anything like this on the iOS AppStore. Strange. Where is the notice posted?

I do wish people who post multi-platform apps would provide all the links to the various app store sites.
Below are a few other free apps associated with FF. I don't know what any of them are or do as, until today, I'd never heard of, seen or played FF. Not even in association with Nigel Lawson.
thanks for posting the deal am downloading now but read if you delete app you can't download game again for free

If you're downloading the iOS version from the iTunes store, create a new folder inside the iTunes > "Mobile Applications" folder and name it "Apps turned off" or summat similar, Then simply transfer the app from the "Mobile Applications" folder to the new "Apps Turned off" folder and hit synchronise it will clear the drive space the app took up on your iDevice. When you want to load to use or update it, transfer it back. In addition I made an alias of the "Mobile Applications" folder and popped it in my Dock and Finder Window Sidebar. If space is a premium, you can even make application type groups of folders, i.e., (Games) (Audio/Video) (Science), etc., to quickly swap around the synchronisation and loading of dozens of apps in a second or two. The swapping/syncing is made faster with a wired connection rather than by wi-fi.
Alternatively, in iTunes you do get the option to keep or delete the app - Just select to keep it.
I don't know if the same trick is doable in Android devices.
