For those that get selected this is great! Though not technically a deal as if you don't get selected and buy the season pass after March 1, you'll have to pay £39.99 as opposed to the current £24.99

Of course there are betas for DLC, there are alpha and beta versions of all software. If you're referring to it being (semi) public, well that's just a solid testing model. The company gets vast swathes of eager beta testers for free and the gamers are happy because they get to play the DLC early. It's a win/win.

Bethesda software is always in beta, even when it is released :stuck_out_tongue: Can't complain if you get it for free!

Found this earlier but backed out after reading the T&Cs and reading that they can nuke your saves. Understandable, and I could just back up my saves, but as i already have a Season Pass its not worth the hassle - i'll wait until the DLC is less-Beta-y before playing :smiley:

Awful, mediocre game. Its hilarious how Bethesda thinks they can increase the season pass price when the main game was gash. They are a hype merchant company.

They're likely doing this so that they can properly test the DLC en masse before release as it's probably a quicker way of finding all the bugs that usually make it into the final version.
Anyone going for this make sure to back everything up as there's a chance any bugs you uncover could corrupt your saves.

I know it sounds daft! Mind you this is based on a comment from stevelo saying that they had 'been informed'. Whether this is true or not has yet to be proven. I signed up and I haven't got a season pass so will have to see what happens.
