The key piece of information, is that calls are currently limited to a 2 minute duration.

I would say that the key piece of information is actually missing : why is it free? Is it advertising supported? The cost must be being absorbed somewhere...
But voted hot, as it's interesting!

Outgoing calls are VOIP so can be made anywhere you have a good enough internet connection (which you pay for).
Forwarding VOIP calls to the local PSTN in those 26 countries costs money, more than could be recovered from advertising - it won't last forever. The are spending Indian venture capital money on those calls. The venture capitalists are probably trying to create another skype in the hope of finding someone as stupid as Microsoft to buy it for a completely ridiculous amount of money.
If you are not too worried about privacy go for it, why not let some Indians pay for your (2 minute) phone calls.
use these websites to call free worldwide with no time constraints

inclusiveinternationalcalls are not accepting new customers (but will accept paypal donations).
makefreecalls requires you to use an 0870 number which will help to make sure the few packages that offer free unlimited 0870 number calling won't in the future.

Let me know when it's available for Saudi Arabia. I have a brother-in-law whose working out here and is costing me a small fortune in call charges. Thanks
You've taken my last weeks thought right out of my mind with this app, been looking for a voip system allowing voip to phone number calling,i understand the 2 minute rule but is it applying just for aznog to landline or mobile calling? Or does aznog only allow 2 minutes to call another aznog member as well mate?
