Findmypast is doing it's free weekend again this weekend. All you have to do is sign up and you get free access to their family history records, or if you already pay, you will get 3 days added to your account!

That link has some info on some USA records they are putting up for free. I don't think you'll have to sign up to the .com site (which is the same thing) to get access, they should all be available on .co.uk too. I suspect the same is the case for AUS and IRE. It's annoying they have 4 different blogs for each territory
